    Sticky
Can someone draw me up a cartoon switchbox with arms and legs, and maybe some cheesy shades or something? You can call him "Switchy-G". I have this ridiculous urge to make some Switchbox Generator ad material, like T-shirts and maybe a billboard or two.

I don't actually expect anyone to take me up on that, but for the record I'm totally serious.

Hello! I have some questions. I use EDIT to put the power box in any place in the world, but it will not actively activate the power. It must be made in the workshop to stick on the wall or make it a connector to release the power normally. Can I use EDIT to edit it to actively generate power in any corner?

I honestly don't know. I'm not sure exactly what you want to achieve, but I'd recommend looking into a mod like Conquest that lets you place a settlement anywhere in the world, thereby letting you place working settlement assets anywhere you want. If that doesn't serve your needs I recommend seeking advice from someone who knows a lot about xEdit.

Reinstalled FO4 after a long long break and a different computer and I'm glad to see this mod is still here. It's such a small thing but it is so, so necessary for my settlement building autism. Thank you!

Is there a way to clean the switch box or make it in say white or other tints? I am no fan of old and rusted, and also this will make it easier to distinguish from the original switch - true?

If you know of a clean texture that I could use let me know! I am no texture artist, so I won't be making one myself.

I don't know anything about modding or I'd try it myself, but can't the pic be photoshopped or whatever they call it - kinda like snap a piece that is clean and copy and paste over all the rust, or grab the texture from say one of those vault boxes because they are nice and clean and paste it over - I really wish I knew how to mod so that I could do this - I can understand rust being in the game but surely there would be paint or something that people would have used because rust in itself is deadly if it gets into cuts or wounds, and I don't think people would run off to get a tetnus injection because they are living in rust - just not logical

This is literally exactly what I was looking for! Would it be possible to make a "clean" version? I'd like to use it in a vault mod and the vault is clean as well.

Hmm, maybe at some point. I'm in full on JRPG mode right now, but I'll eventually make my way back around to FO4.

I'm still around. I'm actually not sure if a clean texture for the switch exists in the game. If you guys find a mod that cleans it up let me know and I'll ask to use it.

I found it. Like 3 years later... but I found it damnit.

It's in this mod right here: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/51137  by, ScottyX2. Bam !!

I hope that the mod author Bombchu never removes this mod, even if a 'better' version seems to be out. I'm having to go through and replace power sources in many of my blueprints including a few I'd meant to publish on the Nexus because the Author of the Generator Fusebox mod decided his mod was 'no longer relevant.' -_-

Very handy, I slap one of these on the side of my Manufacturing machines, so I don't have to run a generator along with poles and wires.

Looks interesting, as I have been letting Sim Settlements run in autopilot, but want to "build my own place" after seeing Sebos Loft (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/37842?tab=description)

Wall mount is attractive, versus the Fusion generator I was just looking at.

Note: I followed your link to the original author's mod, and they have hidden it:
"The reason given by the author is: No longer mod, likely doesn't even work any more."

Awesome, I hope my mod works out for you :)

And thanks for letting me know about the original mod, I'll remove the link.

The fact that mod offers a powered switchbox *without* a passive power radius as an option makes this a must-have for those trying to get lighting right in their settlement rooms. So simple, but saves so much headache. Thank you, and well done.
