About this mod

A simple mod that makes the beginning of the game more difficult.

Permissions and credits
The idea is to make players focus on scavenging and to give the player the feeling that they're going into a truly dangerous world. I wouldn't recommend this for an already existing play through, not for CTD but, because it honestly wouldn't effect you at all.

What this mod does: Deletes most of the guns and ammo from the beginning areas including Vault 111, Sanctuary, and the Red Rocket. Don't worry though, there are two guns in sanctuary but, you'll have to find them! (If you're having trouble then, HA! And check the readme:)

I also took the liberty of removing most of the first aid kits and stimpaks from the before mentioned areas.. you know, for immersion purposes.

Finally, I thought it was kind of odd that there was so much good junk laying around sanctuary. Surely scavenges would have picked this place clean of all the televisions, hotplates, radios, and lamps.. dear god the lamps. Now, poof!! And there gone by the wave of my magical creation kit wizardry wand!
 For real though, there's a lot of good parts that come out of those objects, the main character can't be the only one around with half a brain for science.

Savage New World won't effect you're game past the first few hours, maybe not even that, but if you're looking to up the ante on your next play through, give this a try. I'm hoping to continue with this, perhaps expand from the beginning area into Concord but, only time will tell. This is my first mod so I would appreciate any feedback. Love it? Hate it? Indifferent?
