    Hey folk! Short update+info,

First things first! I've brought Modcast back with my fellow mod author Kris Takahashi, author of Interesting NPCs and Tales From The Commonwealth. Modcast is a series where we sit down and get to know your favourite mod authors. This week we talk to one of the creators of Beyond Skyrim, who details the trials and tribulations that went into the mod.

Regarding the mod - no updates started yet, but if you have *any* questions, suggestions, bugs or insults come to my discord. That way I can respond to you quicker!

Is there anyway to toggle off the white death's target assist? The red cloud can be really annoying. And its a shame because that armor is hands down the best looking ever imo. Ty

Ok, so after some time away from Fallout 4, I decided to give it a play thru once again. I saw this mod and have been trying to get it to work. I'm experiencing some weird stuff with the suit only being able to modify the chest plate in a power armor station. I can see all pieces of the armor, but am only able to modify the chest plate. Any ideas? Thanks!

Does anyone know what the item code for the right leg is or how to find it?

      In the console, type

      Help "t-49" 4

It won't be the right leg listed near the end (that one is for the Storyteller companion), it'll be the one listed about one page up from that.

So yes the headlamp unfortunately doesn't work with the Pip-Boy Flashlight mod and I'm not very good and resolving conflicts on my own. Does anyone know of a patch for this or could maybe create one so these mods work together?

So I've had this mod installed probably since it came out. I recently started playing again and now I get a CTD usually in the same spot and this is what shows on the papyrus log. Any suggestions? This is my favorite Power Armor mod but I fear its not compatible with something else. Seems to be an issue with Ednas questline which is weird because I havent even left concord on the playthrough yet.

Huh. A variable isn't filling - but by no means should that cause a crash.

I have the same problem here. Random crashes even before leaving Sanctuary/Concord, and Papyrus log tells similiar thing on last entries.. I really like this mod, but I think I'll try to see if it will still crash without it..

Another noob question: I'm allied with both The Institute and The Railroad. It shows the Railroad paint but not the Institute paint. Even setting the faction rep to enemy with the Railroad doesn't change this. Do I have to do the institute ending to get that paint for the armor?

Does anyone have a good way to spawn additional pieces of this armor? I'm trying to make my own "Power Armor museum" in the game. What has been successful with all the vanilla PAs as well as unoctium's X-02 and X-03 has been the old "duplicateallitems xxx" trick to duplicate items in one container to another. While that technically works with the T-49, I get a weird bug where the right leg on all the sets of T-49 that I've put together (as well as any in containers) end up as the same type as whatever level and paintjob as the last right leg that I've modified at a PA crafting station.

I've attempted using "player.additem," which says it has added the piece, but the pieces never show up in my inventory... however they do take up their own weight in the inventory. In addition, I've used "player.placeatme," which will spawn one on the ground in front of me,, but that also makes it disappear in my inventory and takes up the weight.

Am I destined only to have one functional matching set of T-49, or is there something I'm missing?

I figured out why the player.additem and player.placeatme weren't working as expected: because the item ids I had found were for the Storyteller's companion armor, and not the regular player T-49 pieces. I hadn't scrolled up far enough in the console when I looked the ids up and didn't realize there were a difference because they are all just listed as "T-49 (whatever piece)". So, I've been successful in getting complete matching suits.

Several people have had success with getting it by having Dogmeat as a companion, then going to Red Rocket; the game will supposedly give you the message that he's found something and then he'll bring it to you. I was able to find it myself in front of the workshop, but obviously that hasn't worked for everyone.

Has anyone had an issue with Edna attacking non hostile turrets and robots in nukaworld or other locations?

It doesn't happen with settlements or regular gun turrets, only those small, round armored laser turrets you find inside vaults, bases, etc

Like inside mass fusion, the two turrets as you enter?

Actually, like in Vault-tec to the Stars when I get a courser elimination mission there.

I used the star cores to make all the turrets and robots non-hostile, but Edna starts attacking turrets even though they show as friendly to me and they do not open fire on me or any of my companions. This eventually gets the other robots to start attacking Edna, which can get the Storyteller involved.

I was also giving the Fusion City rising mod a try and when we entered the lobby for Fusion City, Edna started attacking laser turrets again, even though everyone there was non hostile and nobody had opened fire.

Maybe I should try going back to the Nukaworld location and see if it has anything to do with my weapon being drawn at the time or if Edna still does it despite that.

It's happened twice and both times I had not been fired upon, the turrets showed as green in Vats, and none of my other companions, including the storyteller, opened fire while Edna was doing this.

Maybe she just hates laser turrets?

There is a critical bug. Whenever I put the Storyteller armor into a Power-Armor Display, after a couple of hours, it just disappears.
