Sorry to nit pick the description, but....Pre-War money is not worthless..it is worth at least 3 caps per dollar on game, so pre war money is a great space and weight saver. Its all relative worth, as in why would a bottlecap be worth any more or less than a dollar just cause someone says so, same with gold. You cant eat either, so worth itself is subjective. If we agree something is worth something, it is. Fundamental Capitalism. Supply and demand.
But besides my rant on economics, I Like the basic idea of the mod and how the sole survivor may have planned for things to go wrong. :)
According to Fallout verse lore, men and women were drafted for the Battle of Anchorage and there is a mod on the nexus that brings in cut content that suggests that the FSS was also a veteran of said conflict and could have created the SHTF kit that is seen in your mod as well as be a Lawyer thank you GI Bill.
Like with the other version of this I am wondering if you have to play Nate as the main Character or will his stashed items still appear if he is the supporting character in like the Dual Surivors mod? I am using Dual Survivor, Nora's Bugout Bag and Female Sole Survivor War Veteran - Officer mods. The lore of the Vanilla game doesn't fully explain how Nora knows to operate the T-45 suit on the roof of the Freedom Museum so I added the FSS-WV-O mod along with Nora's BOB mod. I added the original Nate's Old Footlocker mod too. I have yet to find it in game.
Found a bug/conflict with mod. Turns island bar counter and regular table invisible. Still investigating. I initially thought it was this mod alone. Though that is not the case. I disabled/enabled everything by category. I will edit this post once I figure it out. The conflict is with Femshepping's Cliffside Player Home and Gunner Loot Safehouse.
late to this mod but I just did the math (based on real world averages of bills in bundles and the model for Pre-War Money in 4 ($20 bills)) and the amount of Pre-War Money equals out to roughly $25k (saw that in the description and had to do the math as I'm planning a Nora playthrough where she knew about this stash and uses it instead of Nate as he died in the vault)
Not that this matters because this mod is three years old and who knows if the Mod Author is around. I love the principle and the setting, and hopefully my weapon replacement weapon mods are in effect with this mod. I hate Bethesda's rendition of the Combat and Assault rifles which I replaced with the FN-FAL which is closer to the R91 or closer to a game genre weapon than crappy Bethesda's renditions.
I have a question about modding though. Just recently I started to use creation kit and I can't find anywhere how you can make these custom containers locked like in this mod. Can someone help me with that? Thanks.
