Spectacle Settlement

I always loved Spectacle Island an wanted to build a complete Village there. So I started to work on a Mod that alters the Island the way i like it.  Now i want to share my recent and future work.

If you experience Problems let me know.


Features

  • flattened spectacle island
  • one version surrounded by covenant walls and turrets
  • one version without walls and turrets
  • custom LOD ( long distance view ) for each version 
  • optional plugin that adds a small rowboat as fast travel from the castle to the island and back

Changes

Version 1.31
- added a new feature: A small rowboat as fast travel from the castle to spectacle island and back ( as optional plugin)
- removed not needed scripts fom the archives

Version 1.3
- added a wallless version
 - now with fomod installer
- added missing lod fles (which caused the glossy textures)
- fixed position of the covenant gates

Version 1.22
-reworked some textures
-removed some remaining objects

I tested in a fresh game if cages and beacons are working. My cages were working and i could get at least one settler per beacon.
I don't believe my changes could prevent it from attracting settler.

Version 1.2
-New LOD ( Level of Detail / Long Distance View) for Terrain and Objects. 
-MK 7 Machine Turrets all over the Wall ( 288 Defensive)
-removed some remaining Objects
-added one more Object to the Unmoveable bat File

Version 1.1
-fresh remade NavMesh since the first one was buggy

Version 1.0 Features:
-Flattened Spectacle Island
-Complete surrounded by Covenant Wall ( 2.5 scale Factor)
-new NavMesh ( will get some fixes where needed)
-moved Attack Marker outside the wall
-Bat File to move the "unmoveable" floating Objects

Manual Installation:
Copy
Spectacle-Settlement.esp into .../Fallout4/Data
SpectacleIslandFix.txt into  .../Fallout4/Data


Known Issues:
  • From some far away Locations the Terrain LOD is not correct. Because of Creation Kit crashes it's hard to fix. (I only noticed it in the wallless version)

This Part is Old and seems to be fixed by the Creation Kit:
Important:
To move the unmoveable Objects load your save Game, open the console and type:
bat SpectacleIslandFix

Uninstall:
Uninstall the Mod via NMM
Use the Reset File ( downable under Optional Files) in the Console, type:
bat SpectacleIslandFix-Reset

You have to use it two times if you want everything back ( I don't know why ),
the first time only moves the Workshop and the switch.

Warning:
You will get the Cell Reset Bug. If you used Spring Clean, every cleaned Settlement may also be compromised.

unfortunately they aren't without bugs like random spawning Items/Power Armor pieces inside the containers

As long as I am interested in this Projekt, i will work to get everything done. Since i'm new to the creation kit there are many things i don't know. Many of the Skyrim Tutorials sadly don't work for FO4.
