Overview
This is for the most part a port of the "Weapons of the Third Era" mod by 747823 - if you played Skyrim without his mod (or without SkyRe which integrated it) you know nothing about life!

The Elder Swords mod adds over 50 Morrowind-themed weapons which are added to the Commonwealth in a reasonably lore-friendly and immersive way. All weapons are craftable and modifiable. For immersion purposes, they are named after their primary material meaning you can get Wooden, Iron, Steel, Silver, Deep-Gold, Orichalcum, Moonstone, Malachite, Ebony or Daemonic weapons. The weapon stats are based on Skyrim values but had to be adjusted to make the weapons worthwhile within the world of Fallout 4.

Low tier weapons and weapon resource materials are integrated into leveled lists so you can potentially buy or loot them, you will have to craft the best weapons yourself if you have the required perks: mostly various ranks of Blacksmith, katanas also require Ninja, some mods need Science, you also need various ranks of Science to craft weapon material resources yourself. Crafting is done at a forge you can build in your settlements (located in the Crafting category). The forge uses GeneralWorkBench keyword so you can also craft the weapons at workbenches from other mods if they use the GeneralWorkBench keyword. (More about the GeneralWorkBench keyword here.)

Different weapon classes have various bonuses: axes cause bleeding, maces partially ignore armor and such. Getting kills with the weapons will grant you ranks of new "skill perks" that simulate how you increase skills in Skyrim by usage. Each has 10 ranks (each increasing damage by 5%) and there is one for One-Handed weapons, Two-Handed weapons and Archery (unused in the base file).
