What other mods do you use to increase the damage ? Cuz on vanilia it won't go beyond 140 Dmg and yours is like 423 - something what I would like to achieve.
It was few years ago but I think it was Create Your Own Difficulty Rebalance. I simply used it to increase damage of everything in game to a point where heavy calibers and automatic weapons were deadly enough.
i was wondering why there wasnt any .50 pistols (aside from the pipe bolt action which wasnt very good) anyways, you have a pretty nice concept and potential with this mod, so keep working on it. also add some mods that overhaul the .44s purpose as a weapon (a shottgun reciever and bayonet for cqc, a gas sealed reciever and a suppresor for stealth(the gas seal is needed for suppresion) and a long scope and a long barrel for sniper.)
A long scope will be easy to add without any issue. A bayonet is possible: my current test version is compatible with Tactical Weapon Mods by Sean_s (which add bayonets among other things) we're using the same KWRD for both the bayonets and the custom cylinder (the ones that will affect reload speed in place of the grips). I've yet to see if I can use a vanilla KWRD to keep everything (cylinder, bayonet, laser pointer and lamp) or not. A suppressor is unlikely I'm not sure the vanilla ones would fit into the weapon but a new end game silenced weapon is possible as a future mod. For the gas sealed receiver I may, in the future, overhaul the syringer. And for the shotgun I'd like to design a new weapon based on the double barrel shotgun but one that would be pistol sized. Again in the future.
Watched a tutorial video yesterday on how to mod a .44 and it seems to be relatively simple using the CK. Neat to have another working example to check how such "boosts" in stats are done. Thanks.
Just did a manual download, the .esp file is not located in Data\Better44.esp where as I understand it these mods should go, but is installed in the game's main folder. Might want to double-check this is working for the NMM install.
With a manual install the esp has to be put into the data folder manually. NMM (or any other mod manager) should do it by itself even if there's no data folder in the archive.
