    My Dog is MISSING after Valentine made me let dogmeat stay to take a rest after sniffing Kellogg. After the mission, when i get back to dogmeat, he is GONE!! I look for him in the vicinity for 30mins, cant find him. He isnt in the sanctuary too.

    Hello. It seems that my inquiry hasn't been answered yet. I'll just repost this so that it gains attention.
     
    The mod suddenly stopped working when I updated everything from F4SE to the base game, I've tried to check with only the mod activated to see if it works but it still doesn't. Please help.
     


     
    Is there a bug or incompatibility with the version 1.10.130 or something? I can't seem to have a companion along with Dogmeat when I updated my game.

     

    If there's something wrong with my load order, please let me know:

      I had the same issue. For some reason, this mod doesn't work if you have the Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch installed. Not sure why it causes an issue, but this mod worked once I disabled the Unofficial Patch.

      Then you likely have issues in your game I'm afraid, I have literally just tested the latest version of this with the latest F4SE and the latest version of Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch and this worked as expected, If your installing your mods with Nexus Mod Manager then you probably have a conflict in your data folder.

      First, let me thank you for this mod. Always wanted dogmeat with my character. But sometimes had to dismiss because quest required another companion. This mod solved that issue. Second, I am using both the unofficial patch and this mod at this time. Everything is newest version. And this mod IS working perfectly. Was able to do quest with ada, NP. Able to do saving valintine, NP. Even have been running around with Piper and dogmeat, NP. So don't understand why people are having issues. But I don't think this mod is the issue. Thanks for a much needed fix for my play style. Endorsed.

      So this happened to me. Vortex showed it enabled, I then checked my mods on the load screen. In the load order there it showed disabled, I enabled it and it now works.

      I assume so because I am also having issues getting both Dogmeat and Preston Garvey to be companions at the same time. When I try to recruit the second follower, the current one will be sent to a chosen location.

      The mod works perfectly fine with 1.10.130.

      This mod is not compatible with Bugfix for Dismissed Companion Endless Babble. It includes what that mod does, so just uninstall that one. (IIRC, it has a loose script that supersedes one of the ones in this mod's archive)

    Valdacil, thank you for another indispensible mod.

    To everyone, I use Companion Go Home and am trying to send Dogmeat to Home Plate (so I don't drag him into the glowing sea on my way to find Virgil) and cannot. Does anyone know a safe, non-game breaking way to do this?

      One of the reason's I use Amazing Follower Tweaks in my game is hugely due to it's function of letting you set a home location for any of your Followers. It's possible that would work for what you need, just not sure if its something you want to download the whole mod for just that one feature tho lol.

      I dont understand , why ? your using companion go home along side this, I use just this, no aft, no cgh, so I can have dog-meat and another companion , and I can tell dog-meat to go home anytime I want without using CGH mod
      I currently have shei mod so I have shei and dog meat And codsworth , any settlement workshop I've touched , comes up when I do choose to send any of them home ...
      I have taken a look at that mod and get why its made, but if people didn't choose anywhere to send their companions, after first meeting them, they'd automatically go back to their original area anyway o.O ..
      But regardless, try switching the mods around to see home plate pops up

    A spicy thing I found about this, is that a lot of dialogue was meant to have both a companion and dogmeat. When I entered Vault 81, the security officer said "Ma'am, what about his friend and his dog?"
    Thought that was interesting.
