THE FRIDGE

The Fridge is a powered cooling system for beverages and food. The Fridge requires 1 power and has the ability to turn warm drinks into cold drinks. It takes 1 ingame hour to cool down the drinks.

Optional standalone WIRELESS variant: The wireless fridge does not require a wired connection between the fridge and the power source. Other than that the wireless variant is identical to the latest version of The Fridge. It is available under DOWNLOAD (MANUAL) -> OPTIONAL FILES. If you have one version installed and you want to switch to the other version, you need to empty your fridges and scrap or move your fridges to the workshop before uninstalling the old version.

Version 1.6

Support for Nuka World has been added. This version requires Far Harbor and Nuka World
. If you don't have both DLCs installed, please stick to version 1.5.

Version 1.5

-
added new snap points to the standard shaped fridges in order to make them compatible with Evanpox's Modular Kitchen mod

Version 1.4

- Version 1.4 fixes a bug which made some textures randomly disappear.
- Fridges now increase the happiness of your settlers.
- Added a smaller variant of the Nuka Cola fridge
- The Nuka Cola fridge can now be placed closer to a back wall.
- S
upport for the official Far Harbor DLC has been added as an optional file. It includes a Vim fridge and new Far Harbor recipes. Available as wired and wireless variant.

Version 1.3

- Version 1.3 added 5 new fridge models.
- Version 1.3 increased the value of cold beverages which should make them more effective in hydrating your character in survival mode.

Version 1.2

- Version 1.2 added an ice machine and a Nuka Cola machine.
- Version 1.2 added visible static stuff (bottles and food) to the interiors of the fridges.
- Version 1.2 added 2 new cooling recipes: Refreshing Drink and Bobrov's Best Moonshine.

Install:

1. Download
2. Activate
3. Build a fridge and plug it in (FURNITURE->MISCELLANEOUS).
4. Put your warm drinks in the fridge.
5. Return after 1 ingame hour and enjoy a cold drink.

Far Harbor Support:

If you have Far Harbor and Nuka World installed:
Install version 1.6 of The Fridge or The Fridge Wireless.

If you don't have Nuka World installed but you have Far Harbor installed:
1. Install the main file of version 1.5 first
2. Install the optional Far Harbor support file (version 1.5) and confirm overwrite when asked by your mod manager/file manager.

Nuka World Support:

1. Make sure you have both DLCs Far Harbor and Nuka World installed.
2. Install version 1.6 of The Fridge or The Fridge Wireless.

You need to choose whether you want to use the wired variant (NMM default) or the wireless version (optional file). Having both variants installed at the same time may cause conflicts. If you have one variant installed and you want to switch to the other variant, please follow the uninstall instructions before installing the new variant.

Even though it is possible to have the wired and the wireless variant installed at the same time with both variants showing up side by side in the workshop menu, I advise against it. I need to do further testing to determine if it is safe to use.

Uninstall:

1. Remove the items you want to keep from your fridges
2. Scrap your fridges or store them in the workshop.
3. Use a mod manager to delete the files or delete them manually.
