About this mod

Some options to set if ghouls can sprint or not, change their speed to a variety of settings, and disable some of their lunging and running attacks.
Does not work with DLC ghouls!

I no longer have the game or modding tools. People have made some suggestions; if anyone cares to, go ahead and make a new version (if there isn't one already! I haven't looked.) Make them weaker, have less HP, put a final stop on that lunge attack, make it compatible with ghoul types from DLCs... I dunno! I wish I could make this better but once I got bored of the game I haven't looked back and now I don't remember how to mod things. Sorry!



Why:
They move too darn fast! I don't like it. :(

Changes:
Dodge Replacer:
* A simple animation replacer, so ghouls don't suddenly lunge around when they're supposed to be slow. Instead of scrambling left or right, they'll just sort of lean away... maybe... if they care to.

Ver. 1.1:
* 5 different options for setting their speed! 75%, 50%, 25%, and the more tweaked options, Slow, and Very Slow.
* 4 different options for disabling their lunging attacks, in case you want to leave Glowing Ones as very troublesome enemies.
* This version doesn't muddle around with "FeralGhoul_Sprinting_MT" found in the Creation Kit. From my testing so far, I don't think that thing is used in the game.
* I tried to make a little installer thing for NMM, but sometimes it breaks!?? (I got a "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." error a bunch, but then it installed just fine when I tried it again...?)
* If someone wants to take a look at my shoddy .xml files and make it install nicer without errors, that would be so nice.

Ver 1.0:
* Massively gimped the movement speed of ghouls... like a lot... (45 is their new sprint speed. That's about less than half the speed of the player walking.)
* Adjusted their Yaw to 180 from 360... Hopefully that stops them from turning on a dime and side-stepping attacks? Dunno.
* Swapped their running animation for their walking animation.
* Set the attack chance of Attack7 (run-and-leap) to 0 for regular ghouls, and 0.10 for glowing ones.
* Ghouls will still move and attack quickly if you get too close, and the rest of their animations are intact. Frankly, I'd like to turn all their attack
animation speeds down to 50% but I'm unable to do that.
* They still leap, they just don't do the creepy run before it. If they do a creepy run, that's probably just them dodging first.

Original Notes:
* I have no idea what I am doing, nor the effect it will have.
* I used the Creation Kit to edit stuff!
* I dibble-dabbled with FeralGhoul_Sprinting_MT, turned the 700+ sprint down to 16, walk and run to 15, but honestly, from my testing, I don't think they use this thing at all. They still sprinted real fast until I swapped the animations.

Installation:
* There is a Readme.txt file to help with manual installation! I think it is straightforward enough not to need space here...
