You can mostly do something with the weapon at the beginning of the game. It looks very nice. Its power is nothing serious. But mostly it's the range that's missing. Of course, you can grind the people close to you with it. It can be good in tight spaces. It's also nice that you can choose which type of enemies get extra damage (armored or "soft"). If the range (and damage) is increased a bit, then this can be a great weapon. It could handle a reflex sight as an option. Anyway, it's a good little weapon, has potencial, so it might be worth trying it out, maybe adding it to your collection.
It's an interesting gun, but because it's chambered for .38 it's completely impotent by early mid game. Needs re-chambering options for heavier calibers.
