About this mod

Makes Drumlin Diner look more like what you'd expect for a store and living area.

Something I never cared for about Fallout 4 is that the various locations people inhabit don't look "lived in" in the least.  Drumlin Diner is no exception.  This diner where, presumably, Trudy and her strung out son Garrus Vakarian live looks like it would have if no one had ever set foot in it since the war.  They live there yet there are no beds, they haven't cleaned anything up and hell they've even left the 200 year old skeleton sitting in a booth.  Also, Trudy runs a junk shop.  She hasn't got any of her goods on display they've all just been thrown haphazardly around on the floor.  She even "owns" the items outside laying on the ground. This mod adds a small farm plot out front of drumlin diner, converts a bit of the diner into a living space and adds a little defense in the form of boarded up windows and an optional turret.  In response to several messages I've added a couple new items for a little bit more realism.  I've kept these items to a minimum simply so I don't just give new characters a ton of stuff.  This mod was cleaned with FO4 edit and shouldn't cause any issues with other mods...unless you have another mod that rearranges things in Drumlin Diner.  Enjoy!

Just a quick note to all those who have messaged me with various requests:  I appreciate all of the interest in this mod!  I truly never thought anyone would really care about this like I do.  That being said, I think some people are missing my purpose in creating this mod.  I'm not attempting to make it look like Trudy and Patrick have built this place and call it home.  I'm trying to make it appear as the designers intended.  I want it to look like these two commonwealth survivors are squatting in this old diner and attempting to make a life for themselves.  In doing so, I want the diner to still look like a diner, not a fortress/house/store or anything else.  I (personally) think that to change the appearance of the area too much is to destroy the immersion of these characters and their environment.  Anyway, again thank you all for your interest in this little mod and enjoy yourselves in the Commonwealth!
