IMO the only way to improve Starlight in addition to what this mod offers is to re-textures all the buildings to a pre-war outer blue skin. Blue paint still exists in this time period. BTW two things about the original Starlight. No washrooms available for customers or employees. And why were there several cars in the viewing area when the bombs were dropped on Saturday morning on Oct 23rd? Did the occupants decide to sleep overnight?
The pond move was the main reason I chose this mod. For years I've been using Jenncave's Clean and Simple Starlight mod, but its not on Nexus anymore. She's on Discord now. Her's moves the pond, but its closer to the repaired wing. In my play through, the building and the screen were already partially removed. So I ended up scrapping all of the buildings and big Screen. Which is Ok since those things were a real eyesore anyway. Now I have a nice clean swimming pool next to the old projector building location (which is not the same area as the new pond location).
I used it just to get rid of the puddle and radiation hazards, removed the rest using XEdit. This is the mod I was looking for, so thank you :)
(As far as I know you are "stuck" with the radiation in vanilla, so this minimalistic mod is appreciated! The other drive-in mods are too overcomplicated)
While navmeshed for us to walk on, the repaired wing was a hassle since settlement objects like *turrets* would sink in unless placed just-so. I do like this mod but between that and the submerged barrels (deadly to poultry if you have it in your mod list--you'd expect Rad-chickens to be immune to radiation!) I have since moved on.
I really like this mod overall. But I have an issue where one of the bollards can't be moved or scrapped. It keeps coming back. There are a few other items like bushes and vines near the screen that also have this issue. For the most part, I can ignore those. Also, it would be nice if the radiated barrels were removed. I had to use the tcl command and then was able to delete them with Scrap Everything. Otherwise, maybe move the barrels to the top so they can be seen and selected without using the tcl command. Thanks.
Hope you keep at this mod, it's mainly one of the reasons I'm still playing Fallout 4. Build settelements in various ways and defend them against waves of enemys.
Suggestion for the future, you probably already have this on your "todo" list. But, you should be able to abort "special raid wave" encounters. I'm currently in a game of ghoul waves and I'm at wave number 11. I would like to try something else while I'm in game. Fast travel away from "The areana" to reset the encounter doesn't work, the wave encounter is still in intact or resume from where I left it.
Sure I can reinstall the addon but seems kinda harsh.
Hope you get time to get a version out for Sanctuary and The Castle settlments in the near future.
