Hope this still works, can't believe this was first uploaded 2016, has it been that long since survival was added?
Anyway there's nothing worse than losing progress from a crash, and then having to redo things. A death fair enough but a crash? No, I'm not willing to endure that.
Edit: Still works, many thanks for saving my sanity.
It works! As of 9/14/2017 this one still works, where lots of the other Survival quicksave mods have stopped working. Well done author! You made a mod that lasts!
Yeah I was all for survival, even the nades setting me back a ton... I mean it increases immersion, slows you down and gets you being really aware of your surroundings...
but after replaying this part a couple times, I walked down an alley to see some vertibird battle, and the game just crashes...
at that point, I mean, i'm just not willing to replay everything. If the game was 100% stable... then, yeah this wouldn't be necessary.
Thank you SOOOO much. Now FO4 Hardcore is playable even for people like me, who like a bit of realism yet still don't want to smash their keyboard over one unfair grenade.
Nope I can't as the other Author hasn't revealed his/her source code(as I did), but there is a difference as that mod has 2 scripts, while mine only uses one, my Script is declared Const to keep it efficient and block Papyrus from writing unneeded data to your Saves. So all I can do is guessing based on one of its pictures: The only bug I can imagine is a double autosave on non survival games though the other file, you have to test them. Secondly it doesn't lock like its declared Const. (you know about the issues in Skyrim removing Scripted mods from Saves, Const Scripts shouldn't cause them)
