This mod adds a perk which allows the player to get critical hits outside of V.A.T.S. The base chance for a critical hit is determined by the player's luck. Each SPECIAL point invested in luck will increase the critical hit chance by 1 percent.

- The vanilla perk 'Four Leaf Clover' has been modified to increase your critical hit chance to a maximum of 1.8% per luck at rank 4.
- The vanilla perk 'Iron Fist' rank 5 has been modified so your critical punching hits will paralyze your target for 2 seconds even outside of V.A.T.S.
- This mod will also make legendary weapon effects like 'Freezing' and 'Enraging', which are triggered by critical hits, work outside of V.A.T.S.
- The vanilla chemĀ  'Overdrive' will still increase your critical hit chance outside of V.A.T.S. by 25%.
- The vanilla magazines like 'Guns and Bullets' and the vanilla perk 'Better Criticals' will increase the damage dealt by your critical hits outside of V.A.T.S.
- The critical hit chance is not limited. Example: A player with 15 points in luck and the perk 'Four Leaf Clover' at rank 4 will have a critical hit chance of 27%.

Version 1.1.3:

- fixed a bug where the paralyzing effect of 'Iron fist' rank 5 could be triggered by any weapon.

Version 1.1.2:

The critical hit multiplier of the perk 'Four Leaf Clover' has been lowered to 0.2% per rank.
- base critical chance is 1% per luck.
- Four Leaf Clover rank 1: Increases the base chance by 0.2% to a total of 1.2% per luck.
- Four Leaf Clover rank 2: Increases the base chance by another 0.2% to a total of 1.4% per luck.
- Four Leaf Clover rank 3: Increases the base chance by another 0.2% to a total of 1.6% per luck.
- Four Leaf Clover rank 4: Increases the base chance by another 0.2% to a total of 1.8% per luck.

Examples:
- A character with 10 luck will have a critical hit chance of 10%.
- A character with 20 luck will have a critical hit chance of 20%.
- A character with 10 luck and 'Four Leaf Clover' rank 4 will have a critical hit chance of 18%.
- A character with 20 luck and 'Four Leaf Clover' rank 4 will have a critical hit chance of 36%.

Version 1.1.1:

Bug fix: The perk should now be added automatically as it's supposed to.

The critical hit chance can now be increased to a total 3.5% per luck by investing into the perk 'Four Leaf Clover'.
- base critical chance is: 1% per luck.
- Four Leaf Clover rank 1: Increases the base chance by 1% to a total of 2% per luck.
- Four Leaf Clover rank 2: Increases the base chance by another 0.5% to a total of 2.5% per luck.
- Four Leaf Clover rank 3: Increases the base chance by another 0.5% to a total of 3% per luck.
- Four Leaf Clover rank 4: Increases the base chance by another 0.5% to a total of 3.5% per luck.


The perk 'Iron Fist' (rank 5) has been changed to paralyze the target on critical hits outside of V.A.T.S. The duration of the paralyze effect has been lowered from 10 to 2 seconds.


Installation:

Just download and enable the mod. You don't have to use a console command or take any drugs in order to get the perk.

Known issues:

The notification in the top left corner which indicates a critical hit won't appear on every critical hit if your critical hits are too frequent.

Credit goes to Moraelin for his/her mod 'Old Style Criticals' which i used myself until Bethesda disabled the console in survival mode.
