Bodyslide Morphs will now update normals/tangents/bitangents, this is at the expense of processing power so morphs are applied slightly slower than they used to be. In addition, full-precision meshes are now supported for morphing.
BodyGen is now functional similar to the RaceMenu feature, the only difference is where the files go, see file description for how BodyGen works.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I can get into the editor using the ~ key and slm 14 but none of the bodyslide sliders show up (even after building the morphs)
Also whenever I save the changes and exit out the camera jerks down to the ground and keeps jumping up and clipping through my character's feet regardless if I'm moving or not... anyone else experience this anarchy? And do you know of a solution?
I have no idea if this will work for you, but it did for me, so might as well find out. I hadn't played the game in a couple years, so I had to redownload everything fresh. I have the latest version of the game and F4SE. As a last ditch effort I decided to try installing the last version of the mod that was working for me, which happed to be 1.6.18, and it worked for whatever reason. Maybe see if an older version of the mod solves the problem? Otherwise I got nothing.
I use MO2 so if you use Vortex I wont be able to help much. This is what worked for me. I manually installed this mod, dragging the contents into my game directory which looks something like ""C:\Steam Library 2\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data" yours might look a bit different, but just drag everything into the data folder. Then, in order for the Presets and Sliders menu to show up, along with all the face categories, you need to install this mod. I also installed it manually, just because Ive been having issues with loading these mods through MO2, in general though you shouldnt really manually install anything.
Just drag the contents of the mod mentioned above into the Data folder again, in MO2 itll show the mods as unmanaged, thats fine, make sure the .esp files are ticked on the right window just in case, then load the game through F4SE and you should be good.
To bring up the console to actually edit the character, I think for most people it should be the ~ key, for me its the ' key (no idea why), but once its up just type "slm 14" without the ", this will allow you to edit your player character and everything should be there. Then you can go on to install presets which is pretty straightforward using the mod manager.
Im honestly not sure why there arent any solid install instructions in the description, but hopefully this helps someone and prevents you needing to scroll through 8k comments to figure it out.
EDIT: I thought I should also mention that I tested this on a save after you leave the vault, Im not sure whether this will work if you try to do it at the start of the game at the mirror, either way you could do what I did and just install a save game file out of the vault, and edit your character from there!
does anybody have a issue with tattoo's on the body. when exiting the game and coming back the tattoo's have been disabled/ removed from player and any NPC that i applied them to. it happens more often than not. is looks menu getting broken when reopening the game and causing it. i cant find any info or fix ext. of what's causing it.
For those having trouble using LooksMenu in the game, this mod might help: Action Pack https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/47975 . The mod has an option called "Manage Appearance" which opens LooksMenu in the game, along with other options. It is what I use to open LooksMenu. I currently do not have a solution for people facing game crashes or other types of issues.
Currently not working on MO2, worked fine in Vortex, i reinstalled all mods from zip files as brand new and all mods works but Looksmenu, cant find the reason why.

Maybe your Vortex is messing with you like mine and not launching your game with F4SE!
