...Basically, I'll save, quit out (even only to the main menu) and when I reload the save, all of the changes are gone - The body goes back to default parameters (Still my CBBE body, just loses all the 'advanced' adjustments), with no overlays. It also seems to impact more than just LooksMenu items as well, since when I reload the save, the character will also be completely bald and sometimes even missing her eyes (if I went with non-vanilla options for either/both of those things). Note however, that skin adjustments (eyebrows, skin tone, makeup, scars, etc) are NOT affected.
Unfortunately, this pretty much renders the mod, and the whole game, unusable for me...
'LOOKSMENU' itself wasn't the cause, at least not fully - It seems to have been caused by mod conflicts that I had to track down manually (Vortex gave me nothing - As such I can't actually rule out the LOOKSMENU was at least -involved-, but it wasn't the -source-) I *believe* the culprit was the "AGCP's Face Details Add-on" mod - And it was obsolete anyway.
Unfortunately I do not have that mod and I am having the same problem. I cannot find the culprit. I will likely uninstall all mods, mod manager, the game, and give up on the game.
I finally found the answer after extreme frustration with this mod. The two main problems were changing eye color was changing skin color texture in extremely strange ways and changes were not saving, making looksmenu completely useless. This happened twice and I literally gave up on the game. I uninstalled all things and walked away. Reluctantly, I decided to try again with all mods that are not reliant on looksmenu and then leaving looksmenu off. Works perfectly. I am now playing the game. I counter that the problem is actually looksmenu and not other mods conflicting. It is a shame. Many mods are reliant on looksmenu. They are all out the window now.
