WEST TEK 2.0 OVERVIEW AND UPGRADE PROCESS!
Welcome to WTTO 2.0! First the important stuff!
1. UPDATING: IF YOU ARE UPDATING MID-GAME, A CLEAN-SAVE IS REQUIRED!
Because this was re-created from the ground-up, you need to make a clean save. If you do not do this, any existing goggles you have will behave erratically and vision modes could get stuck.
• Take off any WTTO eyepieces from you and your companions, and save your game.
• MAKE A BACKUP of this save in case you need to downgrade!
• Uninstall any older versions of West Tek AND any patches (important! patches will try to re-load West Tek and crash!)
• Load that the save game again, select OK/YES when it warns you about missing west tek plugins.

"Great mod! I've been using it for a while now, with Ruddy88's patch and Customizable Trageting HUD. Since v2 comes with it's own toggle functionality, the patch is no longer necessary. Unfortunately, it did not work with CTH. But the fix is quite easy, so I thought I'd share it here:
1. Make sure CTH comes after WTTO in your load order
2. Open both .esps in FO4Edit
3. In WTTO under "Spell" right click on "WestTek_abTargetingHud"
4. Select "Copy as override into" and copy into CTH (or copy into new esp and set both WTTO and CTH as masters)
5. Find the new entry in CTH

What to do if the Blueprints are not at Med Tek.
If the blueprint doesn't show up at Med-Tek, you can simply add it to your inventory via console like you can with any mod, then read it, which will unlock crafting. Even without the blueprint you will still be able to buy and loot the goggles, just not mod them to your liking.
To get the blueprint with the console:
• Type help "west tek" 0 book and you will see an item called "West Tek - Tactical Optics Schematics".
• Then type player.additem xxx where xxx is the full numeric 8-digit ID you see next to the item
• Open your inventory and read the blueprints like you would any other note
