For those that use this Mod and want the same custom textures for the mod "Concrete Walls with Window Glass" the fix is super easy :)
In the Lord of the Castle folder go into "\Materials\LegionCastle" and Copy the file called "CastleWall.BGSM". In the Materials Main directory make new folders in this order "\Materials\interiors\building\" in the building folder paste the "CastleWall.BGSM" then rename it too "BldConcreteWall01.BGSM" and problem solved. Just did it myself, since the other textures were annoying me and i really love Testarlive's ones :D
hello I installed this mod and for whatever reason its not working right. the icon in the build menu changed with with block pattern but when i go to the actual sub menu for walls or floors and place something its the same old concrete. the only thing that changed was the metal that outlines the concrete, and it went from the rusted brown from vanilla to the black and that's the only difference.
Not seeing any of these items under Concrete under Structures tab or any tab (I looked through each mod category in my pip-boy menu and nothing is there. Are there any mods that don't work with this mod, like Workshop Rearranged or Clean Wasteland Workshop?
Edited: Just removed Workshop Rearranged (one of the more buggy menu-item mod sorting mods out there) and all the items to this mod showed up.
hello dear may i use ur both mods at the same time 1.Cleaner Concrete Structures - Wasteland Workshop 2.Lord of the Castle - Wastleland Workshop Concrete
Separate request: To add merlon and crenelations. That is the uprights tall enough to stand behind alternated with waist highs to shoot over. This is a harder request as their isn't such a mesh already in game. In medieval castles you shoot from the waist high and duck behind the full height to reload. Many castle mods get the high section wrong by letting people look over it. Its the low points that are used for looking. The high ones should be a full story height so a standing person can't see so can't be shot. This would be for the ~ 1 foot thick walls not the foundations. A simple implementation might to do a 1/2 width section at 1/2 height. IIRC there is already the 1/2 width full height sections. So just the 1/2 width 1/2 height would make it possible. Extra effort would be for a full width wall that is 1/2 high and 1/2 low. If you are a fan of Shadiversity on youtube you'd also get to hear about Machiolations. Those let someone on top of the wall attack downward by having the wall projected forward. I think you might get away with a variant of the horizontal beam which is two beams deep with some of 'floor' as the gap. However, very little of Fallout 4 combat would benefit from them. It feels far more work than the play would benefit from with needing a whole new complex mesh. The crenelations though are good for fallout 4 AI and player use. If it can be done the 1/2 width 1/2 height ~1 foot thick wall is a simple rectangle. No funky bits though would need the snaps. left, right and below for sure. Optional to add upward snap.
I do think the brick work style of the castle makes sense. Heck you even find concrete blocks to scrap so building a wall of blocks looks like a medieval wall.
Request to add vertical stacking to the cubes like seen in this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/6362
Real life castle walls are at least 10 ft thick to stop catapult strikes so those really should be the outer walls, at least lower floors. Haven't checked yet if not there adding vertical snaps to other pieces can add to design options.
For people using the Place Everywhere Mod, the blurry, shaky visual glitch when adding items too quick one after the other, hitting the numpad 5 key will also do away with this strange effect
The feature was added in PE because the same glitch shows after having slightly adjusted an item's position...
