I have officially moved on from Nexus modding. All of my mods are free to use, modify, patch, compile, etc. however you see fit, just credit me. I will not be responding to messages - do whatever the hell you want, just don't ask me!
Does anyone know if it works with the Pip-Boy 2000 replacer? I know it says that it works with every skin but I don’t know if that includes Pip-Boy replacers too.
If you open view mod to see all files it contains the only file it overwrites "worldmap_d.dds" and so I would think it would work with any pip-boy replacer mod. Note though if the pip-boy mod comes with a map, you will need to load this mod after that one so this mod's file will take precedence
Sadly the mod dont work for me at all. I only see the vanilla map and i tried it both ways, install it manually or using Mod Organizer 2. Every of the 48 mods is working, except this map mod. And I know older Versions worked, because I used it in the past.
// added "bInvalidateOlderFiles=1" into the MO2 ini-Editor, thanks to MortalTurkey
To add onto this, just in case you're a noob like me and don't want to sit there for hours trying to figure it out. To get to the right location using MO2 click on Tools > Tool Plugins > INI Editor. From there, choose the fallout4custom.ini and then scroll down about 2/3 of the way until you find [Archive]. In that section you should see bInvalidateOlderFiles=0. Change that to bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 and then click save and load up the game.
I´m facing the same issue. Using MO2, I have run the FOMOD installer several times, using various alternatives, but without result. I have also tried to manually copy it into the Data folder (not the virtual MO2-folder, but the one is the actual game directory), also without luck.
I have tried using other mods to make sure that I haven´t messed up the INI-settings, but those work, but IMVR still is a no-show. This is one of my favourite quality-of-life mods, and I used it gladly during my last run-through.
If anybody has any ideas, I´m all ears.
EDIT: I might be stupid and/or or not get how MO2 actually works, but on a whim I used the function "Explore Virtual Folder". Checking the INI-files inside the explorer run by MO2, the bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 was actually missing. After adding that inside the MO2-explorer, it actually works! :D
This is strange. I never downloaded this mod, but for some reason my map is showing the improved maps. Is there some other mod out there that uses this?
If you have Fall UI it disables pipboyFX or something to show colored icons on the pip boy inventory. This takes the hazy overlay off the pip boy screen and I think that's why.

Do some research and apply a bit of critical thinking to what other mods you have installed.
This is just a texture file which had its contrast adjusted.
That is all. It does not change icons, or fast travel, or your combat zone or any other of a bazillion things that F4 mods do.
If you want, you can even adjust it yourself, in any modern graphics program.
So, before creating a comment, or even worse, entering something into the bug list or forum, check your other mods.
Can you customize this mod for me to suit my overly specific request?
No.
Can you add a bunch of extra stuff that will make this mod buggy, script-heavy, and messy?
No.
Can you make this unrelated mod I thought of?
No.
Can you make a patch for X mod?
If I use it, maybe. If not, no.
Will you bring this mod to consoles?
If possible, yes. If not, no.
This mod is pointless, and I'm going to explain why at length.
Don't bother. Also, this is not a question.
This mod is not lore-friendly, and I'm going to explain why at length.
See above.

MO2 works great - running skyrim with over 350 mods, and fallout 4 with over 200.
