If you have not explored the story about the institute, then this background menu screen may ruin the visual surprise.
Enjoy the vision of tomorrow, today. This synth menu background will replace your default menu background, make sure you backup! The mod comes with a lightly modified version of the 'Science and Secrecy' song.

INSTALLATION

Step 1:
*********Make sure you backup the background video file, failure to do so may cause this mod to overwrite that video.***********
It can be found here:
Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\Video\MainMenuLoop.bk2
Step 2:
Add the following to your Fallout4Prefs.ini file under the section marked [Launcher]
bEnableFileSelection=1
Then add the following lines to the Fallout4Custom.ini, if they already exist great, just make sure the values are the same:
[Archive]
bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
sResourceDataDirsFinal=
Step 3:
Extract the folder "Data" from the zip file into your Fallout directory. Usually located here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4
Note:
I have not tested the installation of the mod file with the Nexus Mod Manager. If you have and it works, please let me know!
