There are a lot of gun mods here on the Nexus, and there will probably be many more coming. This mod is just a glorified leveled list I made for my own personal use in FO4, but I am uploading it here because it would be a waste for only one person to enjoy it.

This project is no longer being supported and maintained by me. It has been integrated into a much larger more comprehensive project called Weaponsmith Extended. I will not be updating this any further but it can still be used. I do however encourage that you check out the Weaponsmith Mod:

[NOTE]

This mod is currently in development. That means certain enemies are gonna be either overpowered or underpowered. Please tell me what needs to be nerfed or buffed, I have not had much time to test the dps of certain weapons.

I plan on adding support for the following mods in the future:

Raider Overhaul
Synth Armors and Uniforms

Currently almost one third of these guns are exclusive to Gunners. Several are available as general weapons, especially in loot containers but a lot of the weapons will only spawn on specific enemies. For example the L.A.E.P. Pistol is a replacement for the institute weaponry and as a result exclusively spawns on synths. All legendary enemies can still spawn with legendary variants of all weapons in this mod.

[WHAT THE MOD DOES]

  • Provides a framework that allows for the standalone mods listed below to function properly together within the same game. Make sure you download each and every one of them and that they're all installed along with the "Weapon MegaCollection" .esp file when you start your game.

  • Makes the weapons spawn on enemies in a level dependent order so early on you get the weaker guns and then progressively find better and stronger weapons along with more ammo.. The player can expect to continually find new weapons even at very late stages of the game.

  • Makes all weapons and their corresponding ammunition appear in various loot containers within the wasteland. Most common weapons will also appear on merchants and vendors too. 

  • Incorporates every weapon into the legendary spawn list, so assuming the legendary enemy is of a high enough level to spawn with that weapon you should be able to find it after enough time looking.

[INSTALLATION]

YOU MUST HAVE EVERY MOD LISTED BELOW OTHERWISE YOUR GAME WILL CRASH ON STARTUP

You need to download the following mods. Once you've installed all of these mods, download the MegaCollection and place it at the very bottom of your load order. This makes sure there are no conflicts between your existing mods. If you already have one of the below mods installed you don't need to re-download it. Adding retextures for these weapons shouldn't interfere with anything. Keep in mind the list here will only include mods needed for the most recent version.

I want to add more weapons in the future, but I also want to keep the list immersive (aside from the modern guns) and as realistic as possible. I am specifically looking for more heavy weapons and energy weapons.
