Simply More Stuff - Ammo and Caps
By Billyro

Short Description:

This mod doubles all ammo. Or triples it. Plus, there's also one for bottle caps now.

Long Description:

This mod started out as a way to balance my game (crazy, right?). You see, I'm using the bForceNPCsUseAmmo=1 .ini tweak for Fallout 4. Essentially, what this means is that enemies will use up their ammunition in their inventory, and once they run out, they'll resort to melee. I find this much more realistic than the infinite ammo they had in the vanilla game. The problem? The default amount of ammunition they had was so low, that they'd fire about 8 bullets and then run up to punch me. Every time. This also meant that I could never loot ammo off their bodies because they'd use it all up, and as such, I'd sometimes run out of ammo too.

Thus I made this mod. It simply tweaks the "LL_Ammo_" levelled list values to be doubled. And since these values are used by pretty much everything at some point, you'll basically just get double ammo from all sources: containers, raiders, vendors... you name it.

If you're not using the bForceNPCsUseAmmo=1 tweak like me, then this mod could be considered a cheat mod. If you are using it, though, then it's simply a quality of life and realism-enhancing mod. Raiders shouldn't be carrying only 10 bullets for their automatic guns, right?

And yes, I am aware that there are other mods that also increase the amount of ammunition, but I just wanted the most basic tweaks possible - thus this mod was born.

Compatibility:

This mod only tweaks the bare essentials. Most levelled list overhaul mods should... hopefully... be compatible. If not, it'll just overwrite those particular values.

If you download both the double and triple versions and use them both, they'll conflict. The one loaded last in the load order will win.

You can mix and match the ammo and caps if you like, though - they will work fine.

Known Issues:

None that I know of.
