    Added three new options to the Companion Module holotape:
    Quick Recruit
    -This feature allows you to recruit companions by pressing the alternate activation key (usually R), this feature is enabled by default but has the option to disable it in-case there are compatibility issues with other mods adding activation choices.

    Quick Recruit Eligible Only
    -This feature allows you to disable the restriction on recruiting companions via alternate activation key (i.e. you can recruit anyone)

    Dismiss Ineligible Companions
    -This feature will dismiss any companions that you recruited that are not normally eligible companions (This is the only way to do this since they will not have dialogue to do this normally)

    I will add big ugly warning messages for the next version if you have a conflicting script. This is majority of the issues people are having. You have some other mod overwriting the main companion script.

    I just find Ada's incessent comments very annoying, moreso than with any other companion.

    For curiosity reasons, how did you put her in a synth body?
     


    There is a awesome mod called Ada To Human Which puts her in a Gen 3 body, so she basically becomes human. I didn't think her robot voice went well with the Gen 3 body and converted her textures to a Gen 2. She is a lot more fun now. She is a very simple follower compared to everyone else for sure.     Oh... I usually have a hoard of followers with me so she rarely makes any comments unless initialized by me.

    I can´t seem to get the mod to load at all. In my vortex mod site, it says that the file either have files that are already used by another mod, or that the mod doesn´t contain any files at all. What can I do to change this? I am not that good with computers, so please reply in a "speaking to a 5 year old" fashion. :-D

    Would it be possible to get script sources?

    This mod was last updated 2 years ago, now i want to see if i can still use it safely in 2019, and make any necessary adjustments if needed (even if only to handle any possible mod conflicts).
    So, i need to compare the scripts in this package, with the original vanilla game scripts (or any other mod's scripts already overwriting those, if any).
    Without having the script sources from this mod, i have to resort to decompiling the pex files, and then manually edit almost every line to remove all those added "self" words and other stuff, so i can then run a simple diff to see the changes - it is super tedious, super annoying, and super unnecessary.
    I imaigne after 2 years, maybe you dont even have the sources anymore, but if you do, it would be great if you'd kindly upload them here as a separate optional file.

    To ANY other mod author that reads this...
    PLEASE, get into the habit of including script sources in your mod packages, or at least as a separate optional download.
    You are not helping anything or anyone, not even yourself, by not releasing the source scripts.
    Not releasing source scripts benefits NOBODY.

    I recruited with R command some of the named Raider in Nuka World (after I killed all of them and "resurrected" those named). Now I cannot dismiss them (even with the "Dismiss Ineligible Companions" command in the Companion Module).
    How do I dismiss them without dismissing ALL companions?

    EDIT: resolved with command: cf "actor.setcompanion" false false
    Also, they are dismissed and go where I set home for Cage, I don't know how but that was what I wanted.

      Hi! I have no long any problem with this mod and it was not this mods fault that I had problems with my companions and I made a mistake in thinking so. I discovered that keeping the Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch up to date and not allowing fallout 4 to update until the Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch had been updated fixed all my problems with my companions.
      This is my 3rd play through without any problems.

      That's good news. I might try again sometime but I maintain that Ada is a deplorable companion.

      lol... Why do you hate Ada so much? I love her... at least my Ada I do. My Ada is in a gen 2 synth body now. She is so cute! I will make a video of her in action I think. :)

    I've got my Cait stuck in talk about her not being addicted anymore and when I'm supposed to say something nothing comes up.
    It's so annoying that with whatever companion I wanna talk (or even settlers/traders etc) I get looped to the same line "Are you alright, Cait?" and she starts blabbering in the background slowly walking away through out the whole "conversation".

    I wanted to dismiss all companions to reset this whole thing, but I can't do it, because I can't reach dismiss option without "Are you alright, Cait?" all the time and Companion Module doesn't have dismiss option.
    For now I'm stuck in forever loop of Cait not being ok :D

    Edit.
    So apparently I managed to get all my companions just walk around Commonwealth like they're not recruited, while game still counts them as recruited. Teleported to few places and when Cait finally was in the room in which she was supposed to talk with me it finally worked and I was able to answer her.
    Tho' afterwards I'm stuck with her, dog and one mod-companion as rest is still recruited, but doesn't follow me.

    Not that it matters anymore. I can now decrease the difficulty as they all walking behind me meant I don't have to shoot to kill even a Deathclaw 2m away from me.

    So now I'm stuck with "recruited" companions who are not following me and I can't dismiss them. That's a shame. :(

      2. Click on companion.
      3. Type: cf "actor.setcompanion" false false
      4. Close console.

    So this mod is working well for me but with only 1 issue. i dismissed my settler and now i cant trade with her. Literally my character just talks to her and nothing else. Now i had this same issue with something else and all i did was travel far away and come back but for this case it didn't work. Any ideas on how to fix?

      1. Open your console & click on the offending NPC.
      2. Type "openactorcontainer 1" (Without quotation marks).
      3. Close console & profit.

    I cannot stop laughing...I'm in the Mechanist's lair with ADA, MacCready, and Hancock...so ADA has the M-SAT and I tell her to inspect the node to open it, so Hancock goes over there and shoots this blue lightbeam out of his chest like he's the robot! XD So far it doesn't seem to be negatively affecting anything but this is hilarious! Poor Hancock...he tries so hard not to make himself feel ashamed. Now he's got the blues.

      This happens anytime you have an extra companion with you besides ADA except for Heather as she doesn't use the vanilla asset that cause it.
