    Added three new options to the Companion Module holotape:
    Quick Recruit
    -This feature allows you to recruit companions by pressing the alternate activation key (usually R), this feature is enabled by default but has the option to disable it in-case there are compatibility issues with other mods adding activation choices.

    Quick Recruit Eligible Only
    -This feature allows you to disable the restriction on recruiting companions via alternate activation key (i.e. you can recruit anyone)

    Dismiss Ineligible Companions
    -This feature will dismiss any companions that you recruited that are not normally eligible companions (This is the only way to do this since they will not have dialogue to do this normally)

    I will add big ugly warning messages for the next version if you have a conflicting script. This is majority of the issues people are having. You have some other mod overwriting the main companion script.

    seeing lots of people having problems with this mod,  but I seem to be having a completely different type of problem, or at least I'm uncertain if it's caused by this mod.

    Sometimes companions will follow me with no issue, 3 or 4 or more at a time.  Then other times, certain companions will just disappear, occasionally popping up every so often, then disappearing again.  Nick Valentine in particular just keeps disappearing completely, to the point where even using the "moveto" console command just doesn't work at all.  Instead he will briefly flicker into existence for like 1 frame, then disappear again.


    Same seems to be happening with Cait now, even though I had no issues with her before.




    As well, I keep finding my companions randomly leaving their home locations and going out wandering, but I don't know if that's from this mod

    Tried everything and can't dismiss Cait or Ada they both still follow me. Broken Mod.

    This mod DESPERATELY needs a hotkey for ALL WAIT/ ALL FOLLOW!

      It's not a direct response, you can use fcom, the menu are not very friendly but you can group your soldiers in squad, gives orders to squad or by soldier. But that not work with followers. The interest here is you can have 1 or 2 companion and soldiers squads, it's less boring than having 8 simple vanilla followers to control. If we are lucky, it's possible a day fcom release a shortcuts for squad orders.

    Hello. I'm noticing a drastic decrease in Follower Dialogue since installing this Mod. At the moment I only have Ada and Hancock. I know there are also certain conversations Companions may engage in with particular NPCs, none of those are triggering either. Any ideas? Should I dismiss Ada and have Hancock as the Primary Companion, or would that be a fruitless effort?

    This mod is broken beyond repair, its found to corrupt save files or not even work overall

    Got 2 followers, but only one i was able to dismiss it.

    The second one, im unable to do it. It will start talking in the usual "Dismiss dialog" but it won't give me the choice to send it to X settlement..

    so im stuck with 1..

    any idea how to solve it?

    Note: Tried the console commands to do it, Of course it will Dismiss my companion but then im unable to Recruit it.

      I am having this exact problem.

      I finished the Mechanist and now can't dismiss Ada. I would be happy to just get her to stay somewhere but she won't do that either.

      I'm having the same problem. I have two robot followers, and one of them seem to behave like a proper follower while the other doesn't. I can't dismiss it and when I'm in workshop mode, it still follows me around. Which is weird, since followers usually stops following you and goes off to do their own thing while the PC is in workshop mode. So there's something off there.

      I'd appreciate any insight as to how I might sort this out.

      I had the same issue with the robot followers, and removing their head in the crafting menu, exiting out, and then adding their head back fixed the issue. Haven't had it since.

      EDIT** I wasn't using a follower mod at the time, I think it's a vanilla bug, as I found a lot of other people on steam with the same issue.

    So, I've been using this mod without problems for a while. Never once in the 300+ hours I have played with it. Until now... I was doing the kill Kellogg quest, and I had Preston, Piper, Nick and a modded character, Skarlet, with me. No problems. I didn't want to deal with Kellogg, so i just blew him up without talking to him. Picked his corpse, looked at terminal, got info, talked to Nick, talked to Piper and Nick, left, saw brotherhood airship, talked to Piper again to see if she had an Affinity update, then fast traveled to Sanctuary. Theeeen...none of them would talk to me...Reloaded save. Talked to Kellogg this time. Did same steps from before. Same thing. Repeated, but dismissed Preston and Nick first. Same thing. Dismissed them all. Each time I fast traveled, they stopped talking to me. Tried resetting their ai, killing them, disabling them, resetting them, nothing. I can't figure it out...

      Also, i haven't added any new mods that would have borked it. this was the last one i installed in game, as i wanted to make sure it worked properly. not saying it was this one, but i need to figure it out...

      ***EDIT*** Wellp. I think i figured it out. Because i killed Kellogg before he could talk that once. It borked my saves. Reloaded a few saves back, before i even entered Fort Hagen, dismissed Preston and Nick. Saved, took out Kellogg again, and fast traveled. Piper can talk. It was a mix of a vanilla bug, and this mod. I suggest no-one does that quest with more than two partners XD The bug being if you don't finish a major quest dialog, your companions wont talk till you do. Problem was, Kellogg was a pile of goop on the floor XD

      I did this quest with AFT, 5 people plus dogmeat...Piper being one, she was removed and sent back to Diamond City via the reason is she was to be talked to after Kellogg is dead, and it's important she isn't there for some reason since Valentine has to talk to her in her office and then comes up with the memory den idea.  It's also a good idea not to take Piper, so didn't know that but AFT removed her right before our conversation.  I also had Curie with me because she needed to be human and she also needed to rescue my hubby out of the vault which is part of AFT which is Amazing Followers Tweaks, but another friend of mine was having major issues with this mod, CTDs and so removed it although I have had no problems with it yet....guess it's an old mod.  I was looking for another companion mod that doesn't do all of that but just allows me to have companions I choose and probably only a few because too many will get in your way, and the comments about your looting...yeah, there is an option in AFT to limit those comments but it does get annoying them all talking with each other about why you want to collect all that 'junk'. LOL

    I've had this mod installed for a while and was using it without issue but now, no matter what I do, I can't get Piper to follow me. I had this mod in my game and suddenly my game started crashing and this had been the latest mod I had installed so I disabled, then uninstalled it through Vortex, figured that it wasn't the reason my game was crashing so I reinstalled it. However, upon reinstallation I can't recruit Piper. I can have any other companion follow me, multiple at a time, no problem, but just not Piper. I never even get the option to ask her to follow me. Or the "R" to recruit. It constantly gives me the option to dismiss her... even though she doesn't follow me. Anyone know of anything that could help fix this. I'd greatly appreciate it.

      Is that literally the only option? Wouldn't be fixed if you did an uninstall/reinstall of the game or anything? There's no type of console commands to make someone follow you?

    This mod is just broken for me now, even after reinstalling. Settlers won't follow me when I recruit them or click follow in dialogue. Nothing will happen and they just continue to walk around aimlessly. This mod worked for me up until it was causing CTDs, which then I reinstalled but haven't gotten it working since.
