My dad's "Pistol" has a 1 out of 3ish super short "special forces" barrels supposedly in private hands and I can attest from shooter and observer perspectives.. that muzzle flash was a foot and a half off of each shoulder..
+1. Need something to reduce or remove the muzzle flash for energy weapons.
Edit just find a way to do it, open FO4Edit and select Fallout4.esm only, click ok, on the top left corner open again Fallout 4.esm, go to projectiles, search for :
Select them all, right click, copy as override into..., wait 3 sec, yes i'm sure, select <new file.esp> ESL, click ok, enter the name you want for your plugin like MuzzleEffectRemover, now open it like you did with Fallout4.esm, you should have all Laser records you selected before inside, click on them one at a time and under DNAM - Data click on the Muzzle flag and other stuff, you should get a list opening, unchek Muzzle flash and do this for all records, after this close FO4Edit and activate it in your plugin list, DONE. Have fun. You can do the same for balistic and plasma weapons.
Finally i will be able to actually SEE through reflex dots! A question: this mod was last updated in 2016, will it work with weapons added by DLCs such as handmade rifles and lever action rifles?
How would i go about making the flash from this mod the flash for a custom weapon. Said weapon uses a custom flash but i would like to replace it. Im fairly familiar with Creation kit but IDK where to assign a muzzle flash
I wonder if you can add a version that's basically the same as what you've done here except, ONCE in a blue moon you get a fireball. Like between every 25 to 50 rounds you get one bullet that was over powdered. Nice mod.
If at all possible it will be really really buggy. All the lever action rifle reload scripts are basically shot counters and they are buggy a all hell because the engine doesn't really support mods that do this all that well
Does this mod still work? The muzzle flash seems kinda large to me atm im not sure maybe its just my imagination. If it does still work could you maybe upload one with even more reduced flash?
Could you make an optional file to apply that reduced effect on suppressors only please? Not all the guns (from mods or vanilla) have a reduced muzzle-flash with a suppressor, I don't understand why. I like to play stealthy but I just don't use some of the coolest guns I've downloaded because of that. Thank you for this mod, even it's not THE perfect mod I looked for it's pretty close to it! (sorry for my english)
