This is what you get, if you buy your AKM on wish, or Dollar General.
the only attachment done correctly would be the muzzle brake, and the compensator. Other than that.... I had to stop looking. Looking at the barrel choices, you clearly have not a single idea how the AKM system works; the gasblock goes from normal, to 'eh, probably not, maybe', to just "nope." The selector switch and charging handle is on the left side of the reveiver? The receiver scope mount on the right? I mean, you could say its possible "a company would make a one-off type production with everything moved," but you'd need a completely re-done scope mount and bracket. completely different bolt housing, dust cover, lower receiver obviously. Guess you could say I'm trying to say, it'd be a completely different weapon than an AKM; just with the same paintjob.
Idk if it's a design choice (which would be a really godawful weird choice), not knowing anyone to animate the other reload anims for correct placement, and thusly using the old anims for the chinese assault rifle), or just not knowing the firearm you're implementing.
Plus, having all the names for the crafting thing be so damn generic, like "calibrated" "tuned" or "covert silencer" makes me feel ill.
bro the mod is from 2016, relax. May not be the best ak available for the game now but give credit where credit is due, this mod was legendary for a long ass time and came out when the game wasn't even 6 months old
not wishing to start anything or insult but, i am amazed that all the (old) mods on this site (that have never been updated) are even still here for download . and about 98% of them dont even work if at all on the current game version. when they archived all those old mods to make room for the newer ones i thought mods like this were to be archived . what happened ? and yes it was a good mod at the time . when someone made the mod that flipped the bolt over to the correct side i uninstalled this one and started using the vanilla hmr until a good ak mod came out. it would still be a very good mod if someone made a mod to fix the animations , but its all moot now anyway . there are so many excellent ak mods out there , pick 1 and go with it this 1 is irrelevent now.
As a huge AK fan, i would like to love this mod. Many modifications and optics. I could live with the animations as they are. But all AK 47 and 74 variants have selector on the right, and scope mount on the left. That ruins it for me.

And if the following is true: "24 Ammo Types 15 Receivers 14 Scopes 8 Barrels 7 Magazines 6 Stocks 5 Muzzles"
Just multiply those values and... there are 8,467,200 different combinations! but you're technically correct though, could also claim there are over 7 different combinations!
Edit: What I'm saying is, you could bump that number to be over 8 million! that'd be even more impressive :D
How does this have so many endorsements with charging handle being in the totally wrong place. I use weaponsmith extended and any time I find one of these rifles I refuse to use it because of how wrong the model is.
Ok guys, got a question for anyone who might have some idea what I'm on about. About a year or so ago I seem to remember playing a mod like this one with a wide variety of AK customisation. One configuration in particular that stands out in my mind was an RPK-74 with lowered rate of fire and barrel mounted folded bipod. It was a lot of fun to play with, but I haven't been able to find it in my download history or anywhere on the nexus. Does anyone happen to know the name of the mod I'm talking about here?
EDIT: So, I looked a little harder at my download history and it seems I've found the mod in question; "AK-74 Russian Assault Rifle" by Shifu83. Unfortunately it seems at some point Shifu83 got banned and their files removed. Major bummer, as it was a great mod from what I remember.
