NEWS 11/11/2016: Finally I can work again on FO4, UPDATE IS OUT with version 2.0 being compatible with the new version of Doombased's colt! Happy shooting everyone
_________________________________________________________ Thanks to everyone for the feedbacks! I'll see if I can make other versions too, but for now I'll focus on learn how to correctly port weapons in game, this could mean a lot because I could release actual mods, that would mean new weapons too ahah
Keep comments, suggestions, ideas etc coming! I love to be in touch with the community and be able to improve my skills
A nice retexture, love this pistol but never liked the mat black texture, now it's got some shine to it. (Edited it in paint.net to make a black version, added an image with the results, looks good.)
I'm doing 2 works atm in my life, so I don't have much time to work on it, this weekend we have 3 days home caused by a massive concert freezing our city, this gives me spare time to work on it possibly
try uninstall both main mod and my retexture, then reinstall both latest versions (first main, then mine)! you can test directly if the gun is ok typing in console help 1911 4 and press enter, texts will appear, read the code after "WEAP" textline and write player.addon *codeyoureaded* 1 and press enter
You have to install the base mod, read the main page! The main mod explain this btw, it's in leveled list (raiders and gunners mostly) and vendors lists
Hey, I LOVE the retexture, it's perfect. Only thing better would be a true blue Snake Eater skin. Regardless, I wanted to ask what the process was for modifying existing mod sound files such as for the original 1911 mod by DOOM. No offense, but the sound you included with this package really just isn't up to snuff in terms of quality. Any help would be appreciated.
Back then the pistol didn't have a custom sound, btw the process is taking some gunshot sounds (not from fallout), equalize them and mix them togheter till I like it, then sample them to fit game engine boundaries! I'm not offended, someone like it, someone not, the version without sound is here for a purpose!
I have a bit of an issue with this mod when using the Pistol Reanimation Pack that you suggested. When using the Pistol Reanimation Pack my characters hand rides too high on the 1911. The hand is nearly clipping into the hammer and cuts through the dovetail completely. I was wondering if you are experiencing similar results?
