While i really want to use the mod, i cant recommend it if you are using see through scopes. Highlights all people in an area around you and kinda immersion breaking.
theres also the problem of thighs lighting up when they shouldnt be. Like a value the was supposed to be for only the player aiming is set to also be for NPCs...

Just a heads up to using this mod, the highlight visual effect will also activate when wearing a head gear, eye wear or power armor with Recon sensors mod. Means you do not need to install Recon scope on any of your weapons, just aim down your weapon for the highlight effect. And if your companion are equipped with Recon Sensors or Targeting HUD the highlight effect will be active too, even when you don't have any equipped.

I'm using rcoll's Targeting Sensors for Recon Scopes(Colour Coded NPCs) version so I crafted the vanilla Recon sensors mod on a Night vision headset like the NVG eye wear from Tactical Fast Helmet. I don't even need to switch on my NVG just aim any weapon (without Recon Scope) and the highlight effect come into work. Stop aiming and the effect fades away. If you use Crafting Framework you can craft the Recon module on any gear with legendary affix.

Very useful at night or day time to differentiate foe or friend and locating corpses for loot. If you do not want to use NVG I'll recommend the very cool Oakley M-Frame Sunglasses eye wear mod.

I've noticed this feature just kicks in even if I'm not using a scope that enables it... usually when two groups of NPCs are fighting -- almost as if an enemy/friendly NPC does have a scope, I see the effect through them too or something

i'm looking for a mod that provides utility in close range as well. recons scopes are great for vanilla combat, but i want to mod my next game to add more aggressive enemy spawns so i want a mod that will help me identify friend or foe via color, regardless of if i am wearing power armor or not, and not just through zoom optic.

there's a few mods out there that each server part of the purpose, but i'm not sure any of them deliver all of the above. closest thing is the 'targeting hud eyewear" but it says its not compatible with other mods so i wouldn't get the function with power armor.

Pip-Boy Customization Framework lets you put the recon sensors on your Pip-Boy, and much more, so give it a shot.

So I downloaded this because my ENB was making the whole recon scope screen black and I figured this would help. Turns out it fixed the black screen as well. Just thought people might want to know if they're having the same issue as me.
