    Since the TarienSoul warpaints were made for Skyrim, they don't line up quite right in Fallout 4 (most are very close, but some are obviously a little low). This is due to the drastic change in the UV map used for FO4 when compared to Skyrim. As there are so many, I would love some help shifting them as needed to better fit the Fallout 4 face UV map. If I have to do it all myself, it will be a very long time before it gets done (if it ever does).

    I will repeat here: DON'T BOTHER OTHER MOD AUTHORS ABOUT LETTING ME ADD THEIR TEXTURES.

    If this becomes a source of annoyance for other mod authors, I will remove it. So if you have a suggestion for a mod I should include that I haven't yet, please let me in the suggestions topic under Forums.

    There are several mod authors I haven't hear back from yet (mainly because I asked about a day ago, after I figured out the last bits of how to get everything working), so there may be some additional options added soon.

    Known Issues:
    None currently, but the most likely issue to pop up is for one of my added facial features to replace the texture used by a vanilla facial feature This happens when the array number matches up, and since Bethesda seems to have randomly assigned numbers for a few of the facial features, the only way I can completely avoid it is if I go through and compile a list of every single value used, and there is no way in hell that's gonna happen. It's a fairly easy fix when it does, and I'm fairly certain I fixed all instances of it for the initial release, but I'm going to be adding more in the future. So if you notice it happening, please let me know and I will fix it.

      Hi Vlits, If you could, take the time to make a tutorial or a doc or something on how to add new assets to the Race Menu I would be extremely happy as I can't figure it out. I want to add my Eye brow Textures as a standalone set. Please I beg u sir.

    Added a tutorial under the "Forums" tab of this mod. I'm not likely to offer much help if you have any issues understanding it/getting it to work, but if you follow it precisely it should be fine. If you can't follow it, I'm not sure you should be editing the race record, but worse thing that should be possible from messing something up is deleting the plugin (if you are making the edits in a new file) or reinstalling my mod to overwrite the changes you made.

    If I get too many people bothering me about how to get it to work, I'll be moving it to the mod authors-only section of the forum. If you demonstrate that you have spent a fair amount of time (at least an hour) trying to get it to work, I might be willing to help.

    Don't PM me about it either, that is worse than asking a question here, and likely to get you banned from this file.

    Updating from 1.0 to 1.5 will require you to reapply any "extras" you use from my mod. This is due to me changing the identifiers so I can make my mod compatible with other mods that edit the race record (like LooksMenu Cusimization Compendium) once the feature is fully implemented in LooksMenu.

    These work well! Awesome to have all of them in one place working nicely with LMCC. Any chance of having Viper's Warpaint -https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/19644 join the team? Or your mod having a tint api option? :-) Thanks for all your work on this VIitS!

      Please try this.Just extract it into your data folder, and let your other mod overwrite my mod (mod needs to load to load the injected tints).

      Don't have time to test it right now, so please let me know if it works and if you notice anything missing.

      Woohoo! You did alot of work on this. It works! I created an empty esp to direct the json files and voila! There is only one face tattoo showing up in category new cheese for some reason. Great name lol. So, not sure what is missing? If anything. Seems like I have all the ones I can identify that are in your other esp. Either way, I'm happy. Everything (else) is working well in looksmenu and show up on face. Doesn't get any better. Thanks so much! Appreciate it. Kudos.
      Edit: looking over your texture files, maybe Tariensoul3 is missing? That could be what should be in the new cheese category?..

      Nah, the sorting for the folders was based on Tariensoul's mods (IIRC, they were split into three mods), and the groups are separated based on "that list is getting a bit big in-game), if you look at the file you'll see that the TarienSoul3 textures are in the TarienSoul2 category.

      The "New Cheese" category was me testing something, and forgetting that that was in there. You should probably open the templates.json and change the category ID for the last entry from 10 to 20, and remove the "New Cheese" category.

      Or just redownload the file and overwrite.

      The new files are just the old files with New Cheese removed, and the tattoo moved to Tariensoul 2 category, so if you want to keep New Cheese don't install them

    I've discovered that it's really easy to edit the TairenSoul warpaints using a certain editing program. Duplicate the layer, shift it slightly to the right using the arrow keys, merge the layer down, save the file using ctrl-s and off you go. With a little trial and error I managed to get it to fit pretty damn well which is an achievement considering I have no experience whatsoever with such programs.

    Not a conflict. Looks like the skin just resets the nose and mouth models to the one at the top of the list.

    The Robot Skin Textures seem to conflict slightly with the Extended Facial Sculpting mod. At least that's what it looks like. I'll apply the skin and my characters face will change ever so slightly, bridge of the nose changes shape, lips change shape. Just curious if anyone else had noticed that.

    how can i get the robot skin to work? installed it with NMM but can't find it in the looksmenu options

      It's a skin overlay. You need to have LooksMenu installed.

      i have Looksmenu and LMCC.where exactly is it located? i noticed here is a .json preset file but it does not show up in the preset folder. i can't find anything under Body->overlays either. THe whole texture folder gets installed under data->textures-actor->Robot. like its a standalone race

      It's not a preset, it's a skin overlay override.

      Body -> Skin -> Robot Skin

      Edit: Corrected to be more accurate. Looksmenu allows tattoo overlays and skin overrides

      not there. i even disabled LMCC and looksmenu overlays, reinstalled the skin. Nothing. can i install the mod manually(how?)

      To install manually:
      1) Open the archive
      2) Copy the contents into your data folder
      3) Enable Robotskin.esp

      If you don't see the Skin category, you need to update Looksmenu. If you see the Skin category, and it just isn't showing, the plugin isn't actually enabled.

    This mod would be awesome!... If it worked at all. Ugh. None of the tattoos, markings, none of it shows up.

    I can't uninstall the mod. I removed it but still there is "extra tattoos" and "face paints" line.

      Then you have another mod adding them, or you didn't actually uninstall it. The only things from this mod that persist when it is disabled are changes to the skin color.

    i find this mod very awesome but super stupid at getting it to work....... IT MUST BE THE VERY LAST MOD IN THE LOAD ORDER!!!!

    otherwise it wont work...... even if its a stupid gun mod after it

      That's not the case at all. It just has to be the last mod that touches the HumanRace Record. If you have a gun mod touching that record, then it is a very weird mod.

      And yes, I have confirmed this. I have a few dozen mods loading after it and it works perfectly fine.

    Neither these or the vanilla tattoos are showing up for my characters, either the one who I took through vault 111 in vanilla first, or the ones I got from Infintie Answer after modding the game. Is there a trigger in the game's main storyline that I need to make more tats 'trigger' that I'm somehow missing out on?

      I know for vanilla tattoos you have to find different magazines for each one. Not sure why mine wouldn't show, unless you have another mod conflicting with this one.

    After 1 hour of testing (my eyes started to bleed), i came to conclusion that this mod conflicts with CBBE, it completely bugs out body weight slider option. Doesn't matter if it's put before or after CBBE. Would compability patch fix that? Or they just don't work together?

      I've been using CBBE from the beginning, and never had a problem. There is absolutely no reason this mod should even affect CBBE, let alone conflict with it.

      Any chance I could get a screenshot of what you are talking about? I'm not even sure I understand what you are saying is happening Nevermind, I see what you mean. No idea how that happened, as nothing I changed should have affected it, and it certainly didn't used to do that. Not sure how CBBE has anything to do with it though.

      I'll upload a fix as soon as I figure out what is going on. Until then, just use version 1.5. You lose out on a handful of face tattoos (and can't use the TairenSoul warpaints on top of the full face tattoos), but it has most of the features and doesn't have the same issue.

      Could it be that skin texture that i'm using with CBBE can conflict? "Oni face and full CBBE and JB nude re-texture" this is the one that i'm using. And just to give you more info on how it bugs it, basically it sets weight on default and when i try to alter it, it only stretches stomach around, nothing else moves.

      Nothing to do with the skin texture you are using, that seems to be a result of the bone morph data somehow getting messed with (despite me not touching it in the CK, gg Bethesda). That issue still exists in 1.5, I was seeing weirdly exaggerated morphs with the 1.61 plugin. You'd have to go back to the original version to get proper weight morphing

      Trying a quick fix that will let me keep all my added features, I'll upload it if it works.

      Damn, Bethesda always finds a way to make modders job harder. If you don't manage to quick fix it, let me know which version to download.

      Judging by the way everything spazzes the f*#@ out when I try to fix it in FO4Edit, the race record is still one of the parts in dire need of decoding before they will consider it out of the Alpha release. Hopefully it isn't too painful to fix in the CK.

      I've downloaded CK myself today, was messing around and it works great. I'll try with 1.0 now.
      Edit: Yep, 1.0 works like a charm, too bad there are only like 20% of options to choose from compared to latest.

      Fixed it, was actually really easy to do in the CK once I figured out what the source of the problem was. Uploaded a fixed esp so you don't have to wait for the full thing to be re-uploaded and re-scanned. Just make sure to install all the textures from the 1.61 file (if using NMM, install the 1.61 version, then install the 1.62 hotfix over it).

      Nice! First time in my life that i see a white file that says "uploading", this is legen.. wait for it ... dary!
      I was just about to try 1.5 and then revert to 1.0 if it didn't work, but you nailed it, gonna test it out as soon as it uploads.
      Edit: You are missing a bracket at the end in update description, just wanted to point it out.
      Edit 2: Damn that 39 KB file sure takes long to upload xD

      You seem to be very good and quick with modding, do you have any plans for future mods? I can give you a suggestion if your schedule is empty and if you are willing to make more mods.
