    NexusMods has chosen to violate the trust of their community by preventing the permanent deletion of files by mod authors:

    They cite database limitations as a reason why they can't allow mod authors to delete files any more. I have hidden the mods that I personally made in protest; however, as I am merely a maintainer of this and not its original author (who is banned and thus beyond contact by me), I will not hide this one. I encourage you to send a (respectful) email to [email protected] explaining why this is a bad move.

    NOTE: While I would be interested in a console release, I do not intend to consider it until the mod theft issue is resolved and I recruit somebody to optimize the scripts.

      It appears that this mod is now ...semi...broken. After the new 1.9 (Hi-Res Texture Pack) the Science perk is broken. It is now another Scrapper perk that unlocks at Lvl 40. I know it's this mod because I loaded ONLY this mod up to test it on your provided female save. An update would be greatly appreciated. Until then it's kind of useless. Thanks.

      Is there any word on whether or not this is a truly dead mod now? I have the same broken Science! perk and if this won't be fixed I would just uninstall and try something else.

      The patch for (unofficial fo4 patch) and (far harbor) fixed most of the bugs that killed this mod on my game, such as the science perk not being there anymore and so on.

    AceCarteria has control of this mod now, he has way more patience than I do for fixing and updating


    CHANGELOG 2.0
    -Moved Mastery perks to the bottom of their trees.
    -Fixed Better settler incompat as well as any future incompat issues regarding SPECIAL stats in other trees in regards to NPC's using perks
    -The way the SPECIAL stats are applied now is via a custom script. If you are in progress this should not hinder you, just make sure you hit a level divisible by 3 before you reload the game. I took a while to get that crap down to be backward compatible, but I had to apply it to a effect in progress so it got chalked onto the perk addition that triggers every 3 levels after 9


    BUG REPORTS DEALING WITH 'WHITE' ICONS ETC WILL BE DELETED. I WILL NOT OFFER SUPPORT FOR CONFLICTING MODS WHICH IS THE ONLY WAY THIS WILL HAPPEN, DO NOT USE WITH OTHER PERK MODS AND IF YOU DO TROUBLESHOOT IT YOURSELF.

    NEW GAME HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, HELL REQUIRED F IT.
    I Will be adding a optional file of a save for Male and Female right before Vault exit soon started with this mod.

    For some reason my perk chart now has two scrapper perks and no science perk, its very bad because i can no longer build some mods for armours and weapons since the science perk doesnt exist, possibly the second scrapper perk still counts as science because thats where the science perk should be, but you need to be lvl 40 to unlock the first point in it now because of this mod. Its totally cooked, i'm hoping i can just uninstall without breaking my save because I cbf with this mod anymore, its pretty messy and poorly thought out in my opinion. what i mean by messy is, the icon things for perks are all over the place, some are not even in their columns, and poorly thought out is I also cant find the medic perk line, as I said the science perk is missing, this means i cannot create certain armour and weapon mods or stims/chems, I cannot get the bonus radaway and stim healing and im playing survival. I do not recommend installing this mod

    TLDR: Be warned, this mod is potentially game breaking

      I'm WAY late but I think it's due to the Nuka World DLC which someone below made a patch to that still works as of 5/23/23.

    Hi. i may be late 3-4 years, but thought it wouldnt hurt asking if someone still maintaining this mod.
    planing late game playtrough, probably 250+ level so looking for something like this. vanilla perk system gets pretty borring, and nothing to look forward to when leveling up, after 160 level.

    I have made a crude compatiblity patch for Nuka World which seems to be working. It just removes the new perks and restores the perks as how they were with his mod before Nuka World. Try at your own risk etc.

      Forgot to say this the first time I downloaded, ages ago, but it works perfectly, and hasn't cocked anything up for me, so good work snarf312!

    So, Spent some time on FO4Edit with this and found out the following:

    1. Far harbour patch - Fixes some of the Broken perks (But it also breaks a few other things)
    2. Nuka World added perks breaks the perks from this mod (Needs a Nuka world patch - to delete the Nuka world added entries)
    3. The ordering of the perks is COMPLETELY broken, with the esp as it is you may miss perks or have weird entries like dual Cannibal or Dual Strength training, or perks not being used (7 ranks of rifleman, but the mod restricting the user to only ever get 3, even though as per the way the perks were made is obvious he meant for us to unlock all 7)
    4. Unlike what has advertised the max specials you could add was 9 instead of 12

    After some tweaking, I have a fully functional version with all DLC's, fixed perk ordering, no perks are broken if you are interested PM me - however, it's 1 sole esp as I merged everything

    could someone help me? {I absolutely cant get it to work, most perks are broken, ghoulish is showing up as 2 perks and right now I only have activated DLCs and this mod with far harbor patch

    first I tried with all my mods then only unofficial patch and this mods patch for it, now only DLCS this mod and the far harbor patch but still most perks broken

    Firstly I thanks for your guys efforts for a perks overhaul. Vanilla perks is less fun for me than former FO series.It needs more mods like this.

    I still have several problems.

    I think that your mod aims to make players focus on one type of weapons, because I see the script when you upgrade your perks to lv4 or lv5, it decrease the other weapons effects. I think it's annoying for me when I like to use multiple types of weapons. For example, I want to use rifle to pass early game and I also need melee weapons to handle the close range battle situation.

    And if I want to use melee only, some key perks can't unlock in early game, you know like blitz.

    Chemist 2 requires 7 INT but the following levels only require 5.

    Blitz 3 is broken. Sometimes you don't damage targets. I thought this just affected enemies that you can target from the extended range but it happens for close ones also. Attacking outside of VATS still works 100%.
