Finally, more "supernatural" play style! Thank you. BTW, This mod works perfectly except...
- Cannibal perk doesn't work while playing as a ghoul. - You can't hire Dogmeat while playing as a ghoul. - Permanent right arm crippling, this happened when my right arm get dismembered. (...but, yeah, you lose your limb, you can't grow it back, right? So I don't think this is a problem, but it's more realistic.)
For who wants to play as a ghoul, I have a warning massage to you -> do not get dismembered by anything, or you'll lost your arms/legs forever! Stimpak and doctors could not help to grow it back, remember that!
I can confirm. What has happened? I used to play this mod all the time, along with some of the other playable creatures mods you've made, Abbalovesyou, and now none of them are working quite right. (I tried the Feral Ghoul, Mirelurk King, and Bloodworm Larva to be precise.) Every time I transform I'm stuck in T-pose like the animations are missing. Did a Bethesda update do something with file paths or something?
EDIT: Never mind! Sorry. I just saw your note on the Playable Deathclaw mod: "You can only use one playable creature mod at a time. If you try to use more than one, then one of them will be in a stuck t pose. and u will uninstall the one you don't wanna use to fix it."
Thank you so much for porting this to Xbox One! Awesome mod & a mod I use daily. If you accept donations I'll be more than happy to donate to you. Thank you again!
Thank you for the update! This is a huge improvement. I knew the original had potential, and you've realized that potential. I'm having the time of my life playing as different ghouls now. I love the crafting animation tweaks, where the ghoul climbs up on the armor workbench to tinker. This is my new favorite mod! Definitely endorsed.
The only downside I've noticed so far after a few hours playing is if I'm a cannibal - which I would think would be natural as a feral ghoul - the game locks up when I try to cannibalize a body. Do you think you can fix that?
The cannibal animation is a little tricky.. I can make it use a different animation but it may or may not lock up. and after 40 minutes it sometimes unlocks itself. Its kinda weird.
That's okay. I'll just avoid eating corpses for now.
Just FYI: I tried using the smokeable cigarettes, cigars, and joints mod with this. My ghoul didn't do any animation besides idle but I couldn't move. The perk effect did take place, and when I opened my pip-boy I got a message, "You have interrupted the animation," and I was able to move again just fine. So it appears compatible.
I did notice I couldn't talk to Dogmeat in feral form. I had to turn back human to initiate the first dialogue and then turn back to feral after he was my companion. Other dialogues have been working just fine.
