    Check Plugins:

This is a report of any problems Wrye Bash was able to identify in your currently installed plugins.

    Old World Plaids SMM.esp:
     801 HITMEs

I don't know what it means - a masochists convention? I presume it is impossible to patch or there's no-one willing but I thought it should be mentioned.

I've made a new SMM patch for this mod that does not have those errors, if anyone is interested.

In order to solve the patio chair bug, (invisible bit on the back), some changes need to be done on the materials files.
To solve it you need BAE to extract the main BA2 containing the materials files, then  use Material Editor to make it "two sided", otherwise texture apply only on one side of the chair.
    Files to changes are the PatioFurniture0X (X <- from 1 to 10).

I wonder if anyone is finally going to put in the item that Fallout is missing.

    Actual readable books.

There are even seemingly intact books in the Institute, heck, in the CIT Ruins you cannot pick up or interact with in any way.

Fallout 4 does many things I only wish Skyrim did, but the severe lack of actual reading material nerfs the lore like nobody's business.

So, to make it perfectly clear: this mod has updated versions of the beds from your CozyBeds mod?

Ok , I love this newer model. My boyfriend CozyBeds and we loved that one. This one appeals to me on more levels. Endorsed right away! Love this mod.

I do have a question for the modder or maybe someone from the community. Where do people get the old style lamps from? I have seen them in peoples pictures and can't find a mod that has them. Thanks!

I just paired this mod with another one that allows me to use Sanctuary's metal house textures. I am so in love right now. But wanted to find these lamps.

    Hi there LupusYondergirl,
first of all, I would like to thank you for this mod, really nice stuff you got there!
However, there is a tiny little thing that I would love you to add and that would be the "my-bed" version. I really hate it if I spend years decorating my room and then some settlers go there and sleep in MY bed!
Would be really nice if you could add that.
Keep up the good work and best wishes!

Pretty sure that's why there's a no-beds option. Try one of her other mods, like Cozy Beds - with MY BED option .

Does anyone else have no icons showing up for the rugs in the workshop menu strip? I can build them, but they're invisible in the menu, the placement preview works fine though. I tried it with this as my only mod running, and reinstalling it, still the same problem, and always only the rugs missing.

I just downloaded 3.0 and have the same issue but they are also invisible in game as well not sure why tho.

The latest version 3.0 is causing the light strip at starlight drive in to light up. Is this intended? It just seems an odd one-off in an otherwise tight furniture mod, and is rather jarringly bright and weird that the parts on the ground are not broken and dark.

This doesn't touch any of the light strips at the drive-in, I don't think that's caused by my mod.

Well, all I can say is that with this mod and only this mod installed, the light strip on the projector building is on. Uncheck the mod's esp in nmm, and the light is off. Recheck the mod's esp in nmm and the light is on. Load all of my mods sans this mod, and the light is off. Load all of my mods with this mod on the light is on. It took a good hour to find which mod was directly involved in the lighting change, and I was surprised that it ended up being owp myself. I was wondering if an unintended mesh/texture had made it's way into your .ba2.

Not the biggest deal, I suppose-especially if I'm the only one to see this behavior. I just downgraded to 2.x, but I love your mod (endorsed of course), and regret that this keeps me from being able to enjoy the latest version.

I had the same thing and I think I know what happened. I suspect a texture from Ceaseless's Starlight Drive-In mod was accidentally packaged in with this ESP. The mod in question: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10089/?

      Omg, thankyou damanding!
I love this mod but it was completely ruining Starlight Drive-in for me.
      Thanks for that info!

I've finally had a chance to go and track this down for the sake of my own curiousity and annoyance. There are two files in the .BA2 that shouldn't be there (it's a really easy mistake to make, fyi):

      Materials/SetDressing/Diner
      DinerChromeTrim01
      in the MAIN.BA2

      Textures/DriveInAndDiner
      DinerCT1_g
      in the TEXTURES.BA2

If you use B.A.E. you can grab a vanilla version of the materials file out of the game directory files and drop it into your Data files as a loose file. Doing that is sufficient to disable the glow.
      B.A.E. is here:
      http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/78/?

Unfortunately, uploading a vanilla file as a fix for non-technical users is against Nexus rules afaik, but if anyone needs help with the process let me know and I will add more details. It's relatively straightforward.

LupusYonderGirl, I really love Old World Plaid and if you ever decide to make an update would you consider pointing all the diner booths to use the vanilla mesh, that way Snappable Diner Booths will work with it and it saves having to include the meshes in the upload :)

Maybe I'm misunderstanding what's being asked, but how exactly does one use the vanilla mesh with alternate textures?
Don't you need to change the mesh to point to the new textures?

You create material files to point to your modified textures.

Then you duplicate the object that you want different colours of in Creation Kit. Let's assume we're using the vanilla diner booth as that's what I referred to. It will already have the vanilla mesh assigned to it at this point. You open the dialogue to edit the model used, but you don't touch the .nif option you use the MATERIAL SWAP option instead. Select Custom Material from the drop down menu, double click in the field to open the browse option, navigate to where you put your material file, select it and you will have a new colour using the same old mesh.

Wouldn't you still need to point to the modified object when putting in your constructable object?
I don't use the CK, and never was able to figure out material swaps in relation to FO4Edit and NifSkope...

When you make your construction recipe you point to your modified object, but that modified object uses a vanilla nif so doesn't need a new nif to be included. I usually use formlists for recipes these day, but that's a whole other story. I'm probably not the best as explaining things, but if you want to discuss the technical details in great depth, maybe PM me.

Not sure how I've missed this mod, I've been looking for a mod that adds dirty looking rugs and curtains, everything else just clashes with what's in the game. Thank you very much for this.
