Hey all, been away for a very long time. I decided today that since people seem to like this mod, I've remastered it. Check it out if you have time!

Its a mix of 4k and 8k pixel textures, meaning resolutions of 4096x4096 and 8192x8192.

To this day, this is STILL my favorite FO4 destroyed/rusted vehicle replacer, and you've outdone yourself with this update -- these textures are even better than before

I just uploaded a bunch of screenshots of all the vehicles I could find after a quick sprint through the northwest of the Commonwealth -- hopefully you can get some use out of those!

If I may ask, are you considering remastering any of your other mods, such as Better Statues and/or Better Fire?

Hey, thanks for the compliment and the photos!  to answer your question, that depends on if enough people download the new mod I guess. Took me about a day for this remaster, so I could do it if enough people are interested.

It's like Bethesda doesn't understand how long 200+ years actually is.

Um, this doesn't actually look any better for me. The textures are very low resolution and actually looked better as they were before installing this, sorry to say :/ I've uploaded a picture to show you.

You might want to consider re-issuing this mod, this time using Bethesda High-Resolution Texture Pack textures as a base. Some diffuse maps there have larger resolution.

Also, Langleys HD Textures Workshop ( http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/1897/? ) has absolutely *awesome* truck tire texture.

I love this mod but there's one problem that gets on my nerves, the textures of this mod take a long time to load. I usually end up staring at a vehicle for 2 minutes and then it loads the textures. Can you please fix this?

This is odd because they are in essence the original textures, there is no size difference and no changes to the normals or the specularity maps. The files in this mod have only been filtered a few times to achieve the effect that you see. Sooooo I cant tell you why this would be happening.

You could try packing it into a .bsa, that helps loading textures and stuff, but even then, your textures aren't big enough for that to really make a difference. Plus .bsas require an .esp to be used.
