Fallout 4 seems to be seriously lacking in the Halo mod department, but this will certainly change that!
There won't be another version released until the shotgun animations are done so maybe 3/4 weeks, who knows and will include at least 1 more weapon (although not what you'd expect ;) ) and an updated/somewhat stripped down (Redoing the textures but not including all the skins to save on file size) Magnum which are pretty much done. I won't be releasing anything that needs animations done until those animations are done, they are not in a playable state without them.
Currently getting all the models and textures in game, at least in a very basic state and redoing some things
As for the magnum, I just hope it will still have the ONI skin available for the M6C/SOCOM, even if its in its current texture. The H3:ODST nostalgia is so real with that thing! I love it! By far one of my most memorable and favorite weapons from the Halo series.
Progress is good and I'm thrilled to hear this mod is making some! I'm also very appreciate that not only you are taking the time to do this but also improve it, and that you do release bits at a time as they become ready for release as opposed to waiting for the entire thing! Keep up the solid work man and pass my thanks to the rest of the folks who are helping!
Skins i'll probably keep for the magnum:
Standard (duh)
ONI
Madrigal (personal favourite)
Gold
Chrome (only difference between gold and chrome is the cube map so having chrome as well as gold adds about 500KB)
Also reworking the glowing to work in a similar way as the shotgun and grenade launcher.
Felt that getting early feedback was important hence the Beta and because I put it out WarDaddy saw it and is making the shotgun animations :)
Thrilled to see you are keeping the ONI skin! As far as glowing, are you referring to the actual night sights, or are you making a holo option?
