Thanks to animations from Ha_ru, the Service Rifle is just about ready for release!

The initial release features over 30 mods with unique meshes, including 15 receivers, 8 barrels, 4 stocks, 4 magazines, 5 muzzle devices, 3 scopes, and 2 utility devices., with more on the way!

    Soo excited! I see that you've gone out of your way to make these rifles fit the universe. This is absolutely going to be the best AR/M4/M16 mod out there for damn sure.

    Also, will the M4 variant include a flip-up backup iron sight? Like, will we have an option to leave them on, flipped down, when using some other optic. I'm a total sucker for that look.

      Definitely something I want to have (I also really like that look) but unfortunately it won't be in the initial release. (Just not enough time!)

      I wanted to keep the retro look, so the flat-top receiver is one of the last unlocks- for most of the game you'll have a carry-handle top with a built-in ironsight, and having a backup sight won't really be too necessary.

    Finally a the M16 retro clones that everyone's been waiting for! I can't wait to use this for my winter play through.

    Oh no you don't, last time you said soon was back in October. Nope not going fool me twice no sir. Not expecting this till at least October 2077.

    Just kidding, I know this is a hobby project and Ha_ru is overworked. Bless his poor soul for having to animate that spiral mag for asXas AK5C.

    Looking forward to it when its ready.

      Haha, I can safely say it's coming before 2077. The goal is to have it out by the end of next week.
