About this image

This looks like a pretty medium between a realistic look and a small footprint.

For realism sake 4 rotors are better. 2 rotors require a tail rudder.

Tail rudder is for the faster more mobile vertibird. This is a "carrier" or flying mobile home, which due to extra weight will need the extra rotors.

4 large rotor a definitely out of the question if I want to keep a small(ish) footprint. It actually has 2(for simmetry n s#*!) small vertcal rotors in the back.I'm not big on chopper science lol.
EDIT:Also, the rotors are mounted on jet boosters.Because science.

How about a small 3rd rotor on rear? It will seem sciencie

Have you thought of custom configuration in game? You've already got the models - unless you've scrapped them ::le gasp!::

I still have them all.I may give optional downloads.(when I change the rotors on the VTO I also have to recreate the Rotor/engines piece for the construction process.

If you are up to it, you could put a switch/button on outside or wherever to switch rotor layouts while in game. Would require scripting of some sort I'm sure. It would eliminate having to maintain multiple files.

It should be as simple as having 3 versions in game (1, 2 or 4 rotors) and from a popup box selection would determine which version is spawned. The doors on each would all lead to the same interior cell of course.

Not that I am requesting this, I'm fine with the last version you posted. Just brainstorming here

BTW I spelled rotor backwards. Rotor, there that's better.

Well done! Love the folded rotors, very rl. Now if you could add opening animations to them that would be sooo Bad Ass.
