Finally able to relax, enjoying a pleasant 25 degrees - 77F. Only a few details need to be added and we're done. But it has no haste. The worst part if over and done with. The birds are singing, a cold beer on the table. And a distant lawnmover. Life is good.
Thank goodness for kind neighbors. Our neighbor just dropped by to see what we were doing. I was about to go ahead with the last two plastic roof sheets - the worst of them all. Well - he's a carpenter and he's like a squirrel on a roof. While my knees turn jelly just looking at an upright ladder - not to mention knowing that I have to climb it. In a few minutes he had screwed down those two fiddly sheets leaving me with a heavy sigh of relief.
Now we just need to add a few boards and the gutters and several weeks of work has come to an end. Life is good.
