I'm in my first modelling class this semester, and in my off time I have been putting the tools and skills I have been learning to use on this personal project of mine. I started out trying to make something unique, but when i lined up all of the parts together, it turned out to be a cross between a G36k and M4, so I'm just going with it. Still trying to close the seams so I can start unwrapping the UV maps, but this is it so far. Any constructive criticism is appreciated as I don't know what else to add in terms of detail.

    can you try to make pulse rifle from alien :p

    You could try to chamfer most of the hard edges like on the magazine and the handle. It will complicate your work on the uv's but it will also allow a more precise work with smoothing groups and gives you more vertex to work with for vertex coloring.

    It's a personal opinion but I would make the flash reducer less "spiky", more flat.
