RT: Laughed out loud at the brain surgery joke! Congrats to the Tigers Baseball Team!
PS to Lachina: I have a great idea for you... involving AE and fireworks... Seriously - I hope you and RT have a safe and fun Independence Day!
🤣🤣🤣
Lachina: does that idea involve a "cherry bomb" in a indiscreet area? 😁🤣 thank you my friend and Happy 4th to you too!
Is it just me, or does that gif you replied with show Ted Nugent in his younger days?! Maybe not... but it could be! Nugent and his various bands will always be one of my favorites. Whoever that is, Passionately Patriotic indeed!
On side notes, when I immigrated to the U.S. as a child, I first lived in the East (New York and another state), and I learned to call carbonated beverages soda because that's what they are *laughs* When I got moved as an older kid to the midwest, people around me kept calling it pop, and to this day I can't stand when people call it pop *Laughs* I just mention this because it's not just the South who hates when people call it pop, haha.
With regard to that 1966 album you linked by John Rivers, the photography on that album cover is so amazing. It actually makes me want to play Fallout 4 to see if it can be duplicated, though I don't think it can.
Anyway, this set is a gem, RT :) Thaks for sharing it!
thank you pal!
Awesome and hilarious works RT as always and our Lachina is so gorgeous!
happy to hear
"Meanwhile in Louisiana" on the main one really cracked me.
Really like that last image in the set - classy dress, relaxed shoes and "don't mess with me" attitude that says she won't take any cotton-pickin' bull. You've got to be real with her or she's gone.
I always liked the story in Poor Side of Town. You don't necessarily have to have lived it to understand it. It just takes a little empathy.
thank you Hammer
Love that oldie goldie Johnny Rivers song. And yes, Baton Rouge is definitely Deep South.
All of the lines are great but my favorites:
The guns poem. hahaa
And Boudreuax's secretary. LOL
Great stuf, rt.
Oh and...... Goooooooo Tigers!! That was a wonderful college world series all the way around.
There were lots of close one-run games but after LSU got blown out in game 2, clearly they came back in game 3 with an attitude.
Good times!!
Thank you Gurley 😄 glad to share a few laughs 😁
Cash, The Man!
Thank you
thank you
