Super amazing. I think it looks much closer to what Fallout should actually look like. I wish I could do a small worldspace with those textures.

Thanks!  Might be interesting to tile one of Zorkaz's great ancillary worldspaces as a volcanic wasteland with these sorts of textures...

That would actually be a good idea, but making a custom worldspace that actually evolves around the textures would be more interesting imho. Like having a true volcanic area with according smoke and lava effects.

The goat returns! This would look so good with nacx firestorm weather, man I'm so hyped for this!

Rad idea!  I'm gonna have to try that out next time I'm testing textures in-game.

Goddamn dude. Your work is second to none, I am continuously impressed by how each project of yours truly has it's own personality and atmosphere - and how thoroughly it changes the entire identity of the world. So so so far beyond what Bethesda ever accomplished with these games. I'm particularly loving the black sand (ash?) textures.

Also goes without saying that your virtual photography is in a league of its own. That feral ghoul shot is mental. Are you using NAC X for these? The skies compliment everything so perfectly.

Apunkalypse Now is looking awesome - denim raider gear and Che? Sold. I'd def support a Patreon but sadly I too could really use some dough nowadays lmao.

Keep up the beautiful work, man.

Thanks for the kind words!  My ENB/ReShade setup is all over the place, and constantly changing.  The ghouls there were shot with a Frankenstein mashup of INSTA.LIGHT, NAC, and Film Workshop.  Looked like hot garbage most of the time, but occasionally made for some interesting shots.  I've been favoring a cleaner, crisper look lately- in part because mostly I'm testing textures and that wants a bit of clarity to see what I'm looking at- but I'll likely be back to the old dingy grunge style whenever this project (and the next, and the next...) wraps up.

Apunkalypse has been an ongoing thing.  Mostly end up being my own homebrew mashups and retexes tidied up and released for a general audience.  Permissions are likely to be a minor nightmare, so the thing might end up a bit smaller in release than the unwieldy morass it currently occupies on my drive.  The jackboots are gonna hate it, and the rest of us will probably get a kick out of seeing some familiar faces and more inclusive slogans graffitied about the place.

Thanks.  I lurk, emerging only to drop the occasional screen or ill-advised landscape retex project.

The way you completely transform this game is like some sort of incomprehensible entity creating more and more universes with the snap of its fingers. Can't wait to feel the excitement such a monumental level of global environmental storytelling could bring!

And i know this thing is too good not to gatekeep, but what's that hazmat suit mod? I won't tell anyone ;)

Thanks, that's real kind of you to say!  One of the things I've always loved about Bethesda's games is their capacity for really bringing a person into their worlds.  Yeah they're janky, terribly written, not especially optimized, and buggy as all get out- but their artists and environmental design team consistently work together well to create the sense of a lived-in world.  Given that framework, it's pretty easy to just swap out some variables ('brown ground' for 'desert/forest/volcano/alien planet/whatever') and still have a satisfying world to explore.

The hazmat suit there is a mashup of a couple of pieces- I know the hat is from one of the adaptations of the Prey suit.  I plum forget where the armored suit part comes from.  The orange/beige texture is my own homebrew mash of a couple of other folks' suit retextures.  I'll probably throw it into the Apunkalypse project, whenever that ends up dropping.
