This is an image from a FO4 mod I'm working on called Weapon Addition and Replacement Suite (WARS).

WARS is a complex mod and adds a number of new features, so I've been adding some hopefully helpful loading screen tips to cover them. This one conveniently showed up just as I was recording this video earlier. It shows me testing out the 12 Gauge ammo sub-types in WARS:
In the image though you can see some colour-coded electrical tape on the magazines. The colours correspond to the currently loaded ammo sub-type, so it can tell you at a glance what kind of ammo an NPC is using.

I can't really give an accurate ETA yet, but WARS is definitely getting there now. I post updates in the WIP thread. (Link in the description.)
