About this image

I don't usually post in the non-Supporter section, but I got the strong urge today to make a Fallout 4 film with the theme that life does not get easier, pain does not go away, a thousand potential dooms greet us each morning, but the path continues, and we must always walk it. Never give up. Being indomitable is a state of mind.

I did my best to make this post main-section friendly, but if I failed, I apologize.

I have a question Karna5, have you ever considered making movies? Do you have a portfolio on a blog (besides the nexus of course) where you might make shorts?

Hello, my friend! My main location where I keep my films is Flickr. Most of my Nexus posts are just links to my Flickr account. I like Flickr more than YouTube because Flickr is more liberal (less censored) on what it allows to be posted. Is that what you mean?

Hmm...That's a nice place and that's cool and all, however I was referring to like movies. Like the kind you might be able to one day turn into, to be seen at the theater
You seem to have concepts with your posts, a lot of them are cinematic. Like this one: Never give up.
From the music, the camera angles, and the concept, its all cinematic.

Thanks. I was a poet when I was younger. Now I just make 3 minute films (mostly on Supporter section or Flickr) in place of poetry.

Maybe someday when I find a good medium I'll make a couple of full length films, but for now I just like poems :)

That's cool! I'm an author, and write poetry as well.
I post my stuff on my wordpress blog.
Unfortunately for me at least, Americans don't read. And so trying to get people to read my novel and my blog is like trying to get blood from a stone.
I even made a full horror Silent Hill themed Minecraft movie, and couldn't even get my own f#!%ng family members to watch it everything is trash now a'days

I definitely agree that pain makes us stronger mentally, but perhaps life would do that without pain over time anyway. We may never know as one comes with the other :) Thanks so much for the visit and kind words, my friend! :)

How great you are at making such wonderful videos! And very good lines to describe...
Special thanks for the musical accompaniment in Russian :) This ancient folk song is sung on behalf of a Cossack who tells his bad dream, foreshadowing trouble.. Wonderful!!

That really means a lot, my friend! Thank you so much! As for the song, I love that song so much, especially this version sung by Andrey Zheleznyakov, though I also like a few other versions by female singers. Some days I listen to it over and over again for hours :) My dad's side of the family comes from a part of the Caucasus Mountains that used to be Russia. My great grandfather had already fought in one war for Russia, and when the war of the Czar came out and wanted him to fight another war (I think around 1905), he decided because he already had a wife and family he'd instead go to America. So they all went to Argentina (back then going to America meant anywhere in America, not just the U.S.). My grandfather when I was a child taught me some Cossack dancing and told me stories, but he never taught me Russian language :) I had to look up the translation of lyrics for the internet :) Sadly the Cossack in the song died horribly :)

      Thanks again! :)

Yup, life is hard.  In the face of adversity and pain, you just keep putting one front in front of the other and keep on a'going.  Happy New Year, amigo.

Nice handling of the crushing aspect of daily misery. Resilience is the key.

Picture and Movie pair well together!

I like it. That's something a lot of folks don't want to accept - pain doesn't fade away, you limply learn to live with it.

In life you keep dodging bullets until the day you don't. With luck you keep going past that :) Thanks so much for the visit and wise words, my friend :)
