Ah the Pickman gallery, one of my favourite places in post nuclear Boston.
Oddly enough I like Pickman and his art it has a nice karmic balance that the most horrifying killer in Boston hunts killers, I see how others would be disturbed by its contents but honestly considering the aftermath of what a driven soul survivor can do on a murder bender, if you like the catharsis of raider massacres like I do it gives a nice context to how Pickman responds if you like him, he does small intimate pieces, the sheer carnage of ploughing in with power armour and sledgehammer can be considered akin to a public art exhibition mixed with pest control no wonder pickman talks like he's a fan.
To be honest... to me this entire quest is just a gimmick. By making Pickman "hunt" raiders exclusively they devalued him. I mean... a guy murders raiders. I.e. does the same thing the player does casually without even thinking about it. So... who cares? To me it's just a missed opportunity to tell a good disturbing story.
Fair enough, I liked the quest more due having a fondness for the early Dexter series, punisher films, judge Dredd (comics) some of what happens in a few of the Hannibal Lecter films, but I also like moments in films and games when the table are turned on the characters you grow to dislike in gristly and satisfying fashion hence why I like Pickman. I've tended to find modders can be better story tellers for unsettling stories in game than what most game designers can do, probably because theirs no committee to get in the way and force them to be more palatable.
As for the paintings I do like them, being a former art student being most likely the result why.
"Вы думаете, все так просто? Да, все просто. Но совсем не так"( Эйнштейн ). Золотое сечение здесь "просто работает". Поэтому и смотрится очень гармонично.

it's pipe, strikethrough
A simple picture, but the feeling of some kind of gloomy comfort is perfectly conveyed!
(or both)
