Ooh, these two are very aesthetically pleasant...

Hey, it‘s not funny  if nobody can make your nails, or cut your hair, or refill your eyelash extensions! Not. Funny. At. All!!

Great writing and shots (Preston hiding in the bushes is hilarious )! And thank you for remaining faithful to my images even though I haven’t been much around these past few months!

Thank you. This lock down stuff has been ridiculous and stupid. Ran me out of business. Just a small business and my son was running it for the most part, but I'm missing the income.

Stay tuned -- it isn't Preston.

Damn, I‘m very sorry to hear that! :( I can only imagine how hard that situation must be for you and your son. I heartily wish you the very best, and I wish I could do more! *sighs*

I don‘t even know anymore why I thought it was Preston?! It‘s obviously not his coat... Hmm, interesting... *g*

In my game its already 2289, so will give you two toasts this time

Very good job in writing and with the images again, Laird ... but they really should wear the masks

Thanks. You've been playing awhile. I guess I always restart at some point.

      This is just a meme.

But I guess there has been serious discussion/study of the subject. Makes me wonder.

Oh my.......... Your mind is twisting and turning. And coming up with something unfortunately not quite unlike RL. I'm looking forward to seening where this will take us
As for good old Codsy... I've got a mod adding small notes across the Commonwealth. One is waiting for you on the doorstep of your old house. It reads: "Don't touch the robot!! Those blades are wickedly sharp. The worst thing is he patched me up afterwards. And offered me a cup of tea. I'm almost begiining to like him!"

Cup of tea. Sounds like a fun mod. This isn't going to be a big story -- just a few thoughts on the transition from one year to the next. (And I'm sure you realize that I pull my punches about saying what I really think.)

That is wonderful Larry, very nicely told and excellent pictures.
At first glance, I thought you were honored in the year. Next year is only 2021 and not 2288.

Wonderful set and my favorite was the "They had just learned about Karen's, the latest entry to the Wasteland
    Survival Guide."

Karens everywhere now even in Fallout geeze.

Thank you. I liked that line a lot, myself. Yeah, you know when we'll have to stop wearing masks? When people stop wearing them. My wife has had a few "run-in's" with them. Me? I think they don't want to mess with me.

    Most definately
Great set and loved the writing aswell as the nicley dimmed colors of the Enb you used here (and probably tweaked a bit    )

Thank you. I started doing some makeovers of my characters and had to click "take screen shot". The main image was taken using looping's Grim. Brightened and reduced contrast. I used Film Workshop -- TreyM -- for the dark shots, but then switched to Cinematic Film Looks for the outdoor shots. I have good luck with TreyM's "Wes" LUT. I was just taking some "glamour" shots initially, then I got the idea of the New Year story. Some of the shots had Ansel turned on. I like the HDR slider and the bloom is not so dramatic when I want a little "bright fuzz". I'm not sure which ones used Ansel. The motorcycle smoking with Cricket outside of the ball park is one done with Ansel for sure -- also the shots with Codsworth. CFL has a Fade option that pretty much does the same thing. Just a little different from reducing the contrast.

Thank you. Just a little something, mainly about last year. We can hope for next year.

Wonderful story and gorgeous photos! I can't wait for the next installment!

On a side note, the Closed on Account of Plague reminded me of a 2-CD set I bought a couple of decades ago which I think you'd like. It's called Closed On Account of Rabies.

Somebody put ten of the songs in a YouTube list here in case you want to check them out. It's one of those CDs to which I've never stopped listening at least a few times a year.

Thank you. Working on the pictures for the next one now.

That's quite a collection. Poe was really something. So many dark tales. I'm listening to "For Annie" now. I've never heard or read it before. Thanks for the link.

Who has the time to investigate the size of this virus's particles anyway?
Trusting worldwide panic precautions without question is too time consuming!
I like how JoJo and Cricket (and her Merc bodyguard?) lit up in lieu of masks

I'm glad you got the Body Snatcher's reference. In the first draft I had written the "Karen's opened their mouths wide and screamed." Oh wait -- masks, they're wearing masks.  I guess someone else was thinking about that too in the youtube.

For JoJo and Max, and presumably Cricket, it's not just the smokes, it's the Vodka that wards off the Plague.

Apparently someone is doing some research on the size of those virus thingies If you don't mind a Blazing Saddles campfire type of reference, skip ahead to about 2:55. I really like Tyler Zed, btw.
