Been getting into it a little more although I still only focus on the boys home and maybe one main settlement. Thanks!

Thanks! It probably leaks less than the main house though :-)

It's significant that ochres and browns mingling with rust create such pleasing images.

Aye I do like that mix a lot myself. Even have a version of PRC that I designed around those colors. Thanks!

Oh the cave looks really intriguing, is that Vanilla? I will go myself there to explore if it is?

Nice Settlement and I love the Guest house

Thanks Denz! That is the mole rat cave beneath the Red Rocket (the one between Concord and Sanctuary). So not too much to explore as it is pretty small. I like to clean it out and consider it a secret underground escape path should the RR get over-run. I think someone even made a mod that lets you turn it into an underground home.

I am glad someone enjoyed my little joke :)

Good set. It's a challenge to build on steep slopes, but fun to do with rock terraces and lots of piers/stilts.

Thanks! Aye and I can't use movement keys in Workshop more (long story). So to move I have to toggle the auto-run key off and on while using the mouse to turn. Its a real fun challenge to build. I can't even angle things smoothly - constant right and left clicks to try and get things somewhat lined up then use console to finish if needed with MOD commands. Probably why most of my stuff is simple. This project took me an an entire afternoon to do but it was fun and like how it came out.

Very aptly titled, my friend! It's a hard life to survive in this realm. That said, it becomes a little bit easier with a faithful companion such as Dogmeat by your side. Awe-inspiring work, Jon!

Thank you Bob. I do seem to enjoy my open world style games like FO and Skyrim as show by all my stories and images :) Dogmeat is a favorite and like to see him get some level growth as well :)

That Dogmeat texture is incredibly good looking and you captured him in such a gorgeous way. These red lines on his fur, especially on the shoulder and leg are beautiful.
And although he appears very young, he is very handsome one, and with the cigarette and that flanelle-shirt at the diner - construction worker at lunch break. A really nice picture like a well done snapshot. Thank you!

Thank you Aza! As I told Jumarbye that look for Dogmeat is his legendary look (at least that is how I view it in my own game world). It fits very well with Lobo's temperament I find. When moving he is wrapped in flickering flames which also provides a light source in dark places lol.

I realized later how young Deacon looks in my world when he should probably be in his 40's or at least late 30's. My only explanation is the plastic/face surgeon did a wonderful job :P I made a few version of him being much older but wasn't enjoying them so fun factor won out over realism in this case. So I go with the fact that he looks much younger than he is.

Glad you enjoyed the images, thank you!

I like your little home on the hill. And yeah, it's a great place to build

Great set of shots! Legendary Dogmeat is awesome.

      Thanks Jumarbye!

I was very happy with the house although not realistic as no windows and the rain would destroy the place. I have to pretend they have oiled leather curtains that they unwrap over each of the openings in bad weather. That is probably more likely then being able to find glass that would fit such a shack. They could be rolled up above the windows and tied with rope or something. I guess that works.

Think its my most elaborate home so far. I didn't show all the images but its got a nice rustic bath area, small water pump collects rain water for the shower and toilet and sink. Couple of generators for power. Woody's Wasteland steel drum fireplace. And dining table by the nice view.

I don't always have Doggo in legendary mode but now and then enjoy it.

I was talking with a friend about "legendary" mode for the games NPC's and monsters. I think its like the HULK from the comic/show/movies. Gamma radiation form the great war (which you learn about collecting bloatflies for the science center in DC) has been soaked up by many creatures over time. Some die, some adapt, and a few are like the hulk. When angry (i.e. get attacked) the gamma radiation causes a transformation - i.e. the legendary mode. Same thing for Dogmeat :-)

Oh ho! That's handy. We can call Dogmeat "Hulkmeat" or something jk of course. To his friends he'll never be anything but Doggo, but to his enemies....well, they'll wish they'd never been born
