Hopefully you can get some custom animations made for it. Looks like it would reload by loading in a new spool of ammo from the back and then the belt would have to be pulled out of the slot in the case and then fed into the gun by hand while using a motorized reload setting.. I dunno.
The belt is a trouble because it is not actually animated, I can do a trick to have the same effect as the original minigun but it will be less aesthetic.
In fact personnaly use it only at first person, this gun is near unplayable at third.
Oh, I know something like that would be a lot of work.. or at least I've read somewhere that belt feed animations are particularly challenging/tedious in Fallout 4. Sometimes I get carried away with my ideas, but it's still fun to think about at least.
Fallout 4's engine is so limited it seems, not only are belt fed animations difficult because of a lack of available bone spots but we can't even have dual render scopes (watch, I say that and then some genius out there figures out how to hack that into the game).
