Yeah I'm working on it as I type this. The latest chapter has been through a few re-writes so far, that's partly why it's taking so long.
It's not exactly jujitsu XD, that was just Nate making fun of her, but she has some manner of combat and basic weapons training partly due to Nate's connection to the military.
I figure smarts and a law degree is only going to get her so far in the situations one would undoubtedly find oneself in, in a post apocalypse.
It's 2AM as I'm working on this and honestly reading your comment is the little extra push I need lol.

Awesome, I thought that you put your fic on hiatus due to personal issues/problems, but with the latest chapter having gone through re-writes, it's okay to just take your time about it.
Yeah, I know. Just read about it to the last chapter and just went with the joke, but since you just stated it might as well, her training with nate on firearms and his buddies on unarmed combat, her using those skills on her struggles made for an interesting read. (I think the word for her unarmed combat is judo jiu-jitsu)?
Agreed and which is why I liked the idea of a little bit of deviation for your char, with her still reminiscing the past and dealing with her emotions, it's good that she ended up opening to a certain someone just to have her pain be bearable.
Heh, much obliged then, although it's a bit selfish on my part since the slow build-up of the story with little-mundane fights to now intense fights was what made it a very good and interesting read and am just waiting for the new chapter.
Likewise, just glad that I've come to read and appreciate your fic.
When someday you're going to finish with the main and DLC stories, will you do mod story with your own changes in it?
And lastly, this is a long stretch but will you also do crossover? Maybe with other FO protags meeting with your char and going to other adventures?
It's over 100k words so far and she's only just recently made it to Diamond City. I'll be going through each of the companions storylines as well and weaving it into the main story, so it's going to be a pretty complete fic.
I may do the DLC's as well, after it's finished, if I'm up to it and if it makes sense, depending on the ending I decide to go with.
Won't be doing any modded stories or crossovers. I may do a few filler chapters and one shots to flesh out the main story and relationships.
But yeah it's going to be a self contained fic.
