With the music and effects, it has an old western movie feel about it to me.

I really like the cinematic bars and perhaps it is odd for many viewer, but somehow I like the overlay transparency as lovely effect.
If you don´t want this effect, you can go to the pref.ini and change bDoDephtofField from 1 to 0. It works for me. I went ingame and made some pics in this way as you can see in the spoiler
I think changing the FO setting, however, has some other consequences that I don't want (have some vague memory about it which is why I never tried it to fix this issue) so I will continue to live with it or not use the bars when it is very bad.
