Aside from that, please understand that these weapons I've been working on are my first time efforts, and I'm learning how to do this as I go. I've started to learn hard surface modelling using Blender in last August because I've been wanting to be able to add new assets to Fallout 4. I've been able to put these models into the game, but I still haven't got around to learn about how to implement them as weapons yet. I am familiar with how to use Creation Kit, and I know how the weapon/object mod system works within that software, but there are some more steps I don't know much about yet before I get to that point.
About the custom animations : To make custom animations, 3DS Max (version 2013-2015) + Havok content tools 2013/2014 are needed, I believe. 3DS Max is a software that costs $1800 per year, and the Havok tool is no longer available. On top of that, this is a skill that takes time to learn. To have custom animations, I would have to ask someone who can do this.
My goal at the moment is to get my 3D models finished and have them function with Bethesda's stock animations. Once that step is done, I would know my models are ready to be handed off to someone who can do custom animations. I need to make sure my models are good before I go around asking for help.
So - I am hoping to have custom animations, but it's going to take time before I get there.
I know this isn't a very good answer, but hopefully you'd understand my situation? Thanks for stopping by. :-)
The textures of the Tomcat look great. Something you would see a spy use.
