About this image

This was created by Patchong and will be featured in our upcoming mod.

The EM-2 was an experimental British assault rifle. It was briefly adopted by British forces in 1951, but the decision was overturned very shortly thereafter by Winston Churchill's incoming government in an effort to secure NATO standardisation of small arms and ammunition. An innovative weapon with the compact bullpup layout and an optical sight, it used one of the early intermediate cartridges (a concept introduced by the Germans with the 7.92×33mm Kurz) as a result of combat experience and German advances in weapons design during World War II. It used the experimental, intermediate powered, but highly efficient .280 British round, which was designed to replace the .303 round and Lee–Enfield rifle variants which had served since before the turn of the 20th century.

Fallout: London is a DLC-sized mod for Bethesda’s Fallout 4. As a continuation of the base game, the mod will allow the player to visit the previously unexplored post-apocalyptic environment of London, As a divergence from previous official titles in the series, Fallout: London is not set in America. Visiting a totally new setting allows for us to explore totally new cultures which have not homogenized with their American counterparts. It also allows us to explore pre-war European history, and the effects the Resource Wars had on the class structured society of pre-war Britain.

Wow. Really looking forward to it. The EM2 has a kind of retro-futuristic feel to it that fits perfectly in the fallout universe.

Will this be released as a standalone? It's a fabulous model and a fascinating rifle.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. We really didn't expect this much of a response! We will redouble our efforts in trying to get this mod out for you guy!

As with all of our Fallout: London mods we will be releasing a standalone version so you can get a taste of what is to come with the main mod, we will also be open to letting people bring this to XBONE if they wish to edit it themselves.

    Thanks again.

Stay safe and remember, mind the gap.

Still somehow better than what was actually adopted.
